Gor Mahia troubles continue unabated and the latest is their inability to procure on time an away kit for Sunday’s Kenya Premier League match against Sony Sugar at Afraha Stadium in Nakuru.

Nairobi governor Evans Kidero gave the team Sh100, 000 to enable them buy uniform but an official, who was charged with the responsibility did not get the right size.

Gor Mahia Secretary General Chris Omondi has revealed to Goal that they will now be forced to use their Tuzo branded white kit but black out their former sponsors Tuzo.

Tuzo pulled out from sponsoring the club last month and they have also been recently hit by a Sh118million tax demand from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).

“Nairobi governor gave us money to buy uniform but the official, who took up responsibility did not get right size. It is too late to change it now because it was bought from Dubai.

“We have decided to use our white kit and black out the Tuzo logo because they are no longer our sponsors.” Omondi confirmed that the new kit will now be available from next Wednesday.
