Rama now denies reports
Rama Salim has dismissed reports that he will be leaving Gor Mahia for an unnamed club in the South African Premier Soccer League during the mid-season transfer window. In a story posted in the Daily Nation, Salim affirmed that he is still committed to the Green Army and will see through his contract. Considering that Rama had not attended any trials in South Africa, the story seemed a tad unlikely.
Financial Instability
Nevertheless the constant rumours about players leaving are bound to plague Gor Mahia until the standoff with KRA is resolved.
Timothy Otieno Joins
Another confirmed acquisition by K’Ogalo is Talanta FC striker and JMJ Academy graduate Timothy Otieno who joins on a 6-month loan deal.
I am very happy to have joined a club of Gor’s caliber and I am ready to work hard and break into the first team. It’s a huge challenge but I am willing to work and prove my worth. Otieno told futaa.com
Otieno first came to the fore while starring for kakamega high school. His exploits there earned him a call to the national U20 team. In 2010 he had been the top scorer at the Copa Coca Cola , Nyanza province section.
Am happy to learn that Rama is going nowhere.
The person who posted the story in Gor Mahia website should have verified it with Rama Salim first.
