Sserunkuma ready for former employers

courtesy futaa.com

Going into the match, cross-over player Dan Sserunkuma, who made a switch from the City Stars to Gor Mahia during the June transfer window, says that he is waiting for the match with bated breath.

– I am not under pressure. In fact this is one game I have relished since I joined Gor Mahia. I cannot wait to play against my former team mates, he told gormahiafc.co.ke, the club’s official website.

-Not that I have a point to prove, it will be an exciting affair. We are all friends and I think we will show each other respect on the pitch.

-I have so much respect for City Stars, this is the club that brought me to Kenya and made me known in the Kenyan Premier League. They are good side and they will always have a special place in my heart.

Celebration

Sserunkuma also says that he will not shy from celebrating if he scores in the match.

-Of course I will celebrate. It’s always great to score, but I cannot spite them if I do so.

-I am now a Gor Mahia player and I want us to continue winning. Though part of me also wants City Stars not to be relegated and I know they will not.

Mr. Dan Sserunkuma at least for our match against City Stars pray that we win against them then their other matches you can pray that they win all or most of their remaining matches to remain in the league. I know City stars has always been a hard nut to crush whenever they meet with us(GM) but now the team is well prepared to face them.
