Video highlights: Gor Mahia vs Sofapaka

After the match Williamson called out Sofapaka for their rough play. “It was a tough match. I thought a couple of them could have been sent off. They should have got reds but instead got yellows.

Sofapaka coach Sam Timbe for his part criticised the referee for giving Gor Mahia the penalty. “I think there was no penalty. You know how Sserunkuma falls. The referee should understand that. If it was his opinion then why did’nt he give Sofapaka a penalty as well ” wondered Timbe

Congratulations to team Kogalo. Dont look back.

Ingo where are you now? why are you not talking of the very NOISY fans of Ingwe? Infact am very surprised that yesterday’s incident is not extensively covered in the media, not even the call in FM radio stations. If it was Kogalo it would have been very big news, some even on front pages and acres of condemnation of football hooliganism!!! And the radio stations would allocate hours of airtime to do the same. Lets hear from you why the bias?

@6…jathur gi ji…….you are very right.Had it been Gor who caused that stoppage and fracas it would have been national news…on the front pages of all the dailies and the topic on all radio stations and footage on all TV stations!!biased sports reporters and editors….bure kabisa!!!

@ Media coverage : it is laughable that wonderful things about THE MIGHTY GOR MAHIA OF EAST AFRICA r rarely highlighted by the kenyan media. They dwell on negativity. let them style up.

As much as we are also guilty of fracas during some of our matches, the media should also be impartial in its coverage. The negativity on Gor is well documented…however,it is not only Gor that is always guilty of this vice……as we witnessed in the AFC vs Thika game.So please reporters,do the whole nation a favor and stop being biased in your reporting!!!

  • These pple r not happy with us & they have tried everything to lower the moral of our players. But fortunately, our players love Gor mahia & have made sure that the negative comments do not affect them. As u can c Efusi have no financial problems but internal wrangles r bringing them to their knees but the media do not talk about that. Keep it up boys, play ua part in K’ogalo as the EC & K’ogalo community r doing everything to better ua lives. Kudos 4r a well deserved win. Let the cry babys cry .

  • Kudos to the Kogalo family. We are a family through thick and thin. let us keep focused, this storm is only for night. Joy bells are coming in the morning. It was a tough game but you made it through. May our Philosophy of one game at a time never die out. Soon we will cross the line as victors. It is so good to see that every player given a chance on the pitch plays their heart out. This shows their commitment to the team. keep it up.
