Williamson: Gor Mahia ready for KCB

With Vice Captain David Owino and other players back in the line-up , coach Bobby Williamson is looking forward to a positive result when Gor Mahia take on KCB at the City Stadium on Wednesday.
Coach Bobby Williamson confirmed Owino’s presence but insisted that they have not had a crisis in defence. “He is available for selection but the fact is we have not a crisis at the back in his absence. If we can score goals even if we concede, we will be fine,” he said. The coach said he expects a tough game against the bankers and complained his side that had become a target for the other clubs. “It is unfortunate that all the other teams are raising their game when playing against us. Everyone wants to beat Gor Mahia and this puts a lot of pressure on us.
KCB were one of the top teams last season but have found the going tough this time around. They will be hoping to get back in track. “We performed very well last season and I’m still puzzled on why we are struggling this season. I’m very disappointed but its normal in football and I hope we will start registering positive results,” said coach Abdallah Juma. The last KCB match was a 0-3 loss to Western Stima.
But Gor Mahia have not won in their last 4 matches and do not want another slip up. “It’s unfortunate we have lost our matches to bottom teams and we are facing another struggling team, that makes it tricky since they might be motivated by our loss. So we are taking no chances but to win the match since anyone can beat anyone in the competitive league,” said coach Williamson.
With the night-games ban still in place, kickoff time will be 3pm

My problem is does the team have the fire in their belly to win this game. Its all about the right attitude and good communication on the field. I insist that this team is the best there is but still underperforming to the chagrin of the fans. I pray that i get a smile today though i will not make it today rather i will watch if in the comfort of my office. Wish the team well.
Time to shrug off “paper tigers tag”
Kogallo, always looking good on paper , time to thrash a time convincingly and restore the pride is NOW!
Just be smart mr. Coach, do not complain cause they will raise their game
All the best, this time round we must win to to raise the morale of both players and fans.
Wishing K’Ogalo a great win.
Kwa raha na kwa dhiki Gor Mahia for ever!
@voltage, you seem to have lost the game even before it is kicked. Are things that bad?
@Jakoyo, for once you are hopeful for the best. That’s a good sign that you are learning albeit too slow
All the best
It is a 50/50 game. BW if Walusimbi overlaps to attacks then be ready 4 a quick counter attack from KIONGERA & OUMA. That how teams have an easy game plan to hit us. They will just sit back and wait 4 that golden opportunity. ALL THE BEST.
@City Stadium to cheer my beloved club.Hopes to see Kariuki today in the field as a super sub and Onyango marshalling that midfield. Gor3-KCB 0.
Players hopefully have put differences aside and are psyched up to play. Big test for BW
Posession fine so far but striking still poor. No composure in front of goal. How do you handle that?
Our boys need to be alot more serious. Watching the coach from the touchline you can realyy feel it for him. Our players are commiting some schoolboy mistakes which should not be done at this level. The main culprits were Rama, Danny, Jerry and Mutiso. We need to iron out such minor mistakes if we are to retain this trophy.
scores?
3-2 in favour of Gor. Teargas lobbed after Gor fans harassed the ref. This is a team without a sponsor and while courting them they are showing their uncouth behaviours. You can abuse the ref as much as you want but being chaotic is another thing. What type of education do these fans of ours require?
Yaah the game ended gor 3: 2. bat the kind of goals kcb scored agaist us those 2goals is not optimistics ,yaani extra mins mani? nxt david juma ajaribu, me l wz shockd wid thoz goals, cjui ni goalkipa? bytheway cograts boys.mwaah!
Game well played but Jagoal petty mistakes have costed us to concede easy goal. It was good today to see brilliance and commitment from players only that BW you need to improve in substitution timing.
On sad note Hooligans and thugs managed to ruin such a bright afternoon,Shame on You! !!!!!! to all who were involved in this primitive act.
