{"id":1079,"date":"2012-10-08T12:14:42","date_gmt":"2012-10-08T12:14:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gormahia.net\/latest\/?p=1079"},"modified":"2012-10-08T12:14:42","modified_gmt":"2012-10-08T12:14:42","slug":"fatigue-cited-in-muhoroni-match","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gormahia.net\/latest\/news\/fatigue-cited-in-muhoroni-match\/","title":{"rendered":"Fatigue cited in Muhoroni match"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/www.gormahia.net\/images\/loga-bob2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"492\" height=\"328\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Courtesy of futaa.com<\/p>\n<p>Gor Mahia\u2019s assistant coach Bobby Ogolla has admitted that Gor Mahia players may have suffered from bits of fatigue during their match against Muhoroni FC on Sunday afternoon at the City Stadium.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking after the match, Ogolla assured that the team would work on the areas of weakness noted from the match ahead of their approaching encounters.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Slowed down performance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>-The players did not give their usual display in the match but we will be back to our level before we meet AFC Leopards in the semis.<\/p>\n<p>-The players lost some crucial balls in the match but we will correct all those areas when we get back to camp.<\/p>\n<p>K\u2019ogalo despite failing to convert their chances managed to advance into the semis of the FK Cup tournament via a 4-2 win over Muhoroni Youth.<\/p>\n<p>They will meet AFC Leopards who saw off Karuturi Sport on Saturday 6<sup>th<\/sup> October 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Courtesy of michezoafrika.com<\/p>\n<p>Gor Mahia Coach Zdravko Logarusic says he is happy that the team has qualified for the Semi Finals of the FKF Cup, putting them in line for a second piece of silverware after winning the KPL Top 8 Cup last month.<\/p>\n<p>Though he was not pleased with how the team played, the Croat is pleased that they are into the semi finals.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou cannot always play good football to win. Sometimes its scrappy but the most important thing is that we won the match. We were a little bit lucky winning on penalties but I feel we should have wrapped up the game in 90 minutes considering the number of chances we lost,\u201d Logarusic told michezoafrika.com.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey also lost a lot of chances in the first half and you know in a Cup competition, there are no favorites. Each team is equal. We now look at the Semi Finals against Leopards next weekend and we will plan accordingly for that,\u201d he adds.<\/p>\n<p>On Victor Ali\u2019s injury that forced him out with 30 minutes left on the clock;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will need to have a look at him but it does not look very good.
