{"id":11038,"date":"2018-07-27T04:58:39","date_gmt":"2018-07-27T04:58:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gormahia.net\/latest\/?p=11038"},"modified":"2018-07-27T13:11:41","modified_gmt":"2018-07-27T13:11:41","slug":"kuria-donated-ksh-2-million-for-traveling-fans","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gormahia.net\/latest\/news\/kuria-donated-ksh-2-million-for-traveling-fans\/","title":{"rendered":"Moses Kuria donates Ksh 2 million for traveling fans"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/gormahia.net\/images\/raila-kuria.jpg\" width=\"524\" height=\"345\" class=\"alignnone size-medium\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Additional reporting from the Nation<\/p>\n<p>Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has dished out Sh2 million to Gor Mahia fans to cater for their travel expenses to Dar es Salaam for this weekend\u2019s continental fixture.<\/p>\n<p>The Kenyan champions are set to face Tanzanian bigwigs Yanga in the return match of a Caf Confederation Cup tie at the National Stadium on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>The announcement of Kuria\u2019s handsome donation to K\u2019Ogalo fans has been shared on social media by the club\u2019s organizing secretary Judith Nyangi.<\/p>\n<p>HundredS of Gor Mahia fans are expected to benefit from this generous gesture by the controversial MP who attended last weekend\u2019s Mashemeji derby featuring K\u2019Ogalo against their eternal rivals AFC Leopards at Kasarani.<\/p>\n<p>During the match, which Gor won 2-1, Kuria was spotted donning the K\u2019Ogalo jersey while seated next to the club patron Raila Odinga.<\/p>\n<p>Nyangi, meanwhile, has however stopped short of explaining the criteria of selecting fans who will attend the match.<\/p>\n<p>The 14-hour one-way bus trip from Nairobi to Dar costs Sh4,000.
