He adds something different in the team and we hope he can settle in first and become an important player for the team,\u201d Jolawi said.<\/p>\n<p><em>Nation Sport <\/em>has reliably learnt that the player\u2019s contract at<em> K\u2019Ogalo<\/em> has an exit clause in case he lands a deal abroad. A number of teams in Europe and USA have been following the progress of the youngster.<\/p>\n<p>Omondi becomes the team\u2019s fourth signing in the ongoing transfer window after the capture of striker Juma Balinya from Yanga, Ghanaian midfielder Jackson Owusu and the promotion of youth team duo Chris Alpha Onyango and Alphonse Omija.<\/p>\n<h2>Dennis Oliech has retired<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone \" src=\"http:\/\/gormahia.net\/images\/oliech-nzoia-19.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"462\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Courtesy of the Nation<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Former Kenya international striker Dennis Oliech has officially retired from football after failing to nail a move to any Kenyan Premier League (KPL) club.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Oliech had hopes of being signed by one of the KPL clubs notably Wazito or Bandari, but with less than two weeks to the end of January transfer window, the veteran striker has decided to hang his boots after the two clubs and none in the league failed to show any interest in his services.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&#8220;I have officially retired from playing football and will venture into business. I had stated when I left Gor Mahia that I would bounce back by joining Wazito or Bandari, but nothing is forthcoming and that is why I have not seen any need to continue. I have retired both international and at a club level,&#8221; he said in an interview with <em>Nation Sport.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>He also revealed that he arrived at the decision after seeing the fortunes of Kenyan football dwindle given the current financial crisis bedevilling the league.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&#8220;Kenyan football is on its deathbed and that is evident by the go slows and walkovers in the league. Why can&#8217;t KPL management stand strong yet even before SportPesa came, the league was running.
