Heavily built like a typical Camerounian, Ngafei previously played for Al Mudhabi in Oman<\/p>\n<p>Ngafei was born on Janruary 1 1996 in Kurabo Cameroun. He is a product of Aspire Football Aacademy. He had played in Oman since 2017 for three different teams: Ahli Sidab, Jalan and Al Mudhabi<\/p>\n<p>He follows in the footsteps of other Camerounians who have played for Gor Mahia including Simon Pierre Guidougue and Baldwin Ngwa Afa&#8217;nwi<\/p>\n<h3>Sydney Ochieng<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone \" src=\"http:\/\/gormahia.net\/images\/sydney-sign.jpg\" width=\"584\" height=\"389\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Hard tackling midfielder Sydney Ochieng, has joined Kogallo from Western Stima. Ochieng has previously played for Kisumu Palos, Tusker and most recently Western Stima<\/p>\n<p>Additional reporting from goal.com<\/p>\n<p>The star is the latest to be confirmed at K\u2019Ogalo as he leaves the Powermen who have also been hit by player departures<br \/>\nKenyan Premier League record winners Gor Mahia have confirmed the signing of Sydney Ochieng from Western Stima.<\/p>\n<p>Ochieng has joined the KPL heavyweights whose transfer business is gaining speed. He has signed a four-year contract; the longest contract agreed on by a new signing thus far.<\/p>\n<p>He has previously played for defunct Palos FC in the National Super League as well as the Premier League\u2019s former champions Tusker.<\/p>\n<p>The midfielder is the latest star to leave the Kisumu club who have seen a number of their first-team players sign for Wazito and Posta Rangers whereas others have been linked with Kakamega Homeboyz.<\/p>\n<p>The expected mass exits at Western Stima have been witnessed following the withdrawal of Kenya Power and Lighting Company as their main sponsors.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMidfielder Sydney Ochieng\u2019 joins K&#8217;Ogalo. We are happy to announce the arrival of Sydney Ochieng\u2019 from Western Stima,\u201d Gor Mahia confirmed via their Facebook page.<\/p>\n<p>Ochieng becomes the fifth player to sign for Gor Mahia after Levis Opiyo, Andrew \u2018Roma\u2019 Juma, John Macharia and Tito Okello. Ochieng and Juma have signed their contracts with the Green Army on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Burundian striker Jules Ulimwengu, Cameroonian midfielder Bertrand Konfor and Malawian star Andrew Numero are some of the foreign players Gor Mahia have been linked with.<\/p>\n<p>The recent four signings come days after Gor Mahia chairman Ambrose Rachier confirmed they were in the process of bringing onboard new players to strengthen the current squad.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have already embarked on the restructuring and the revamping of the club and I have held two executive committee meetings at which we have examined two strategies,\u201d said Rachier.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTalking about the immediate undertakings that we have decided to carry out is the beefing up of the playing unit. This involves an exercise where the cooperation of the technical bench and the executive committee is desired.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe shall make a decision on the players to retain as a very first exercise.
