Gor Mahia head coach Zdravko Logarusic has congratulated his boys for standing firm against determined KCB and managing to secure the entire three points.<\/p>\n

Logarusic could, however, not overlook the resistance they faced from their opponents in the match saying that they were forced to work extra hard for the points.<\/p>\n

According to the Croat, KCB stood a better chance of winning the match should they have converted<\/a> their chances for the period of 90 minutes.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy boys gave a good response to the KCB attacks in the match. We piled pressure and eventually it paid off with a win in the last minute which is great,\u201d said Logarusic.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe KCB side is really doing a good job and they gave us a hard time and managing to create several chances though they did not score.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gor was forced into an early substitution in the match with their opponents running rings around their defence but no goals were scored in the first half.<\/p>\n

K\u2019ogalo, however, managed to bounce back in the second half despite continued pressure from KCB for the entire match. It took a last minute penalty by Rama Salim to secure the entire three points for the side after Ugandan import Dan Sserunkuma was brought down in the area.<\/p>\n
