Gor Mahia fans will not need to travel to Mumias again this weekend. The match against Muhoroni Youth which was earlier scheduled for Mumias complex has been moved to Afraha. The match will occur on Saturday May 4 at 3pm.<\/p>\n
Last year in the equivalent fixture, Gor Mahia inexplicably succumbed to a 0-1 loss to Muhoroni. Fans will be hoping to avoid a repeat of that disaster. Indeed fans are eagerly hoping to see an improvement from the last two matches which have both ended in draws against lowly ranked teams. Most notably, an inability to score goals continues to plague the team. Dan Seserunkuma and Rama Salim who between them scored 29 goals last season suddenly cannot find the back of the net.<\/p>\n
Goal Drought<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cI am concerned about our lack of goals. We dominated the play against Homeboyz, had the chances but just couldn\u2019t score. We need to earn as many goals as we can,\u201d said coach Logarusic to the Nation.<\/p>\n Lavatsa , Sserunkum and Rama Salij have all been guilty of missing gild edged chances. But Logarusic indicated that he is working on the issue while noting that the absence of Kiongera is being felt. \u201cKiongera\u2019s absence has hit us hard; he was to be my main hitman. Sserunkuma is doing a good job but goals are scarce. But I am confident he will soon begin delivering,\u201d<\/p>\n Shopping for talent.<\/strong><\/p>\n Logarusic says he is already scouting for an attacking midfielder and striker to supplement his squad.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cWe are a bit short in the attack and attacking midfield positions. I want to add at least one player in the two areas. I have already spotted the kind of player I want but will have to wait until the window<\/a> opens.
