Visiting Kawangware based Nairobi City Stars held host Gor Mahia to a 0-0 draw in a Kenyan Premier League encounter played at the City stadium on Saturday 18 May 2013.<\/p>\n
After an eventful first half that saw either side get chances that they failed to utilise, the game turned over to the second half full of promise.<\/p>\n

Gor Mahia Coach Zdravko Logarusic pulled out Ali Abondo and brought in Rama Salim at the onset of the second half to add punch upfront.<\/p>\n
Ten minutes into the restart central defender David Owino attempted something different; a long range shot from mid pitch but It just weaved off target.<\/p>\n
In the 74th minute it looked all for City Stars when Silas Aluvisia, who had come in for George Mwangi, went on a run for goal but his final shot let him down as it went wide.<\/p>\n

The minute after substitute Moses Otieno, who had come in for Joseph Njuguna, received a pass from Danny Sserunkuma but he shot straight to Frederick Majani in the City Stars goal.<\/p>\n
Two minutes on, former Gor midfielder Dennis Wise Okoth shocking failed to tap in a through ball from a hard working Jimmy Bageya to leave the scores at 0-0.<\/p>\n
Land at third<\/p>\n
No further efforts in the remainder of the minutes to full time resulted in a goal leaving the scores at 0-0.<\/p>\n
From the latest result, Gor Mahia moves off fifth spot to land at third with 18 points from nine games. Narobi City Stars on the other hand moved a position higher, from ninth to eight with 15 points from 12 games.<\/p>\n
