Pascal probably earned the edge due to his goal scoring ability which saw him finish as one of the league&#8217;s leading scorers despite being a defender. Masika had a solid year and was the rock that held the Kogalo defence.<\/p>\n<p>Other Kogalo players nominated were Jerim Onyango for goalkeeper of the year and Collins Okoth for midfielder of the year. Rama Salim, a transfer target of Gor Mahia was voted as new player of the year.
