Midenyo whose exit from Tusker FC was engulfed in controversy decided to end his tenure at Ruaraka by buying out his contract so he can pursue his career in a different club.<\/p>\n<p>Immediately after sealing a deal at Gor Mahia on Thursday afternoon, an excited Midenyo told michezoafrika.com \u201cI have put the rest in the past and am now ready to focus and serve my new club. Gor Mahia is a big club with a respectable legacy and an admirable fan base. Am excited to be part of the movement and I promise to do my best in partnership with my new team mates in order to make a difference.\u201d He said.<\/p>\n<p>Midenyo had initially been linked with a move to AFC Leopards but the controversy surrounding his exit from Tusker slowed down the talks. \u201cI had to take what was in my face.AFC officials were slow and I was not certain of that deal. They kept on pegging my fate to Allan Wanga\u2019s arrival and I was not ready for the wait. I have been welcomed well here at Gor Mahia and am finally settled.\u201dHe said.<\/p>\n<p>Midenyo has previously turned out for Mathare United before stints with clubs Raufos, Mjallby and Husquvarna.
