And after their loss to Tusker last weekend, Gor Mahia should be in no mood to take chances. However Thika has proven a difficult matchup for Kogalo of late. Their last encounter on June 23 ended in a goal-less draw at Kasarani. The previous match which was on the last day of the 2012 league ended in a 1-1 draw.<\/p>\n<p>Thika have seemingly fallen out of contention in the Kenya premier league will come out all guns blazing as this is their only hope for silverware this season. &#8220;Our match against Gor will be very difficult and I will be approaching it with a winning mentality. My players are tired after many matches but I will urge them to enjoy the game since it will be a big stage for them to show case their talents.&#8221; said John Kamau, the Thika coach to supersport.<\/p>\n<p>Gor Mahia will be looking to make amends for their below par performance in the last 5 league matches where they have only collected 5 points out of a possible 15. Paul Kiongera who had found a rich vein of form when Bobby Williamson arrived cant seem to find his scoring boots of late. Anthony Akumu is once again blowing hot and cold, while the team as a whole is once again going through a period where they can hardly string more than 3 passes together.\u00a0 Over the past 3 years, Kogalo usually start the league poorly but finish with a sprint. This year however, Gor Mahia appear to be slowing down exactly when they should be stepping on the accelerator.<\/p>\n<p>They will be counting on their fans to turn out in large numbers. &#8221; I have told my players it will be important to keep their nerves as K\u2019Ogalo have the advantage of the 12th player with their passionate fans.&#8221; said Kamau.
