The league title sponsors Tusker have stepped in to help with the preparations.The match will kick off at 4.30 ostensibly to allow for firecrackers at dusk. According to the Standard, there will be a number of prominent guests led by the honorable Raila Odinga. Also gracing the occassion will be former stars : Peter Dawo, Allan Thigo, Goro Oronge, George \u201cFundi\u201d Onyango, David Ochieng \u201cKamoga\u201d, Tiellen Oguta and Julius \u201cAwilo\u201d Owino.<\/p>\n<p>Winning the league for the first time since 1995 is an event worth celebrating. It has been an excellent season for Kogalo on the field and off the field. It will be a season that will be remembered for a long time to come.\u00a0 Club secretary general George Bwana revealed plans are on for a trophy tour in city estates and later to take it around the country.<\/p>\n<p>However the one issue that continues to plague the club is the issue of hooliganism. Most Kogalo fans are sensible, and stable people who understand that their behaviour while wearing that Gor Mahia fan jersey reflects on the team. However there are some fans who simply become unhinged when they find themselves in a group with other fans.<\/p>\n<p>Every opportunity must be used to try and educate the fans and make them realize how much damage they are doing to the club. Make these people realize that there are literally thousands of people who avoid coming to stadia due to hooliganism.
