{"id":3313,"date":"2013-11-20T03:40:56","date_gmt":"2013-11-20T03:40:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gormahia.net\/latest\/?p=3313"},"modified":"2014-01-24T13:05:36","modified_gmt":"2014-01-24T13:05:36","slug":"sserunkumas-transfer-fee","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gormahia.net\/latest\/news\/sserunkumas-transfer-fee\/","title":{"rendered":"Sserunkuma&#8217;s transfer fee"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.gormahia.net\/images\/bwana-sseru.jpg\" width=\"314\" height=\"268\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In what appears to a contradiction of their earlier statements or perhaps a change of heart, the Daily Nation now reports that Gor Mahia will indeed let Sserunkuma leave<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>According to the Nation, the Ugandan striker has formally presented\u00a0a\u00a0transfer request to the club expressing his desire to join Armenian league side,\u00a0FC Banants, which he attempted to join midway through the just concluded season.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Gor Mahia\u2019s top officials on Tuesday confirmed that indeed the player was leaving the club saying that they are now awaiting a formal bid from the club in question.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Club secretary-general, George Bwana, however, said they will respect the player\u2019s wishes but the club\u2019s initial asking fee will be a minimum of Sh8 million.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Bwana\u2019s assistant, Ronald Ngala, said: \u201cSserunkuma presented a letter of request yesterday (Monday) which the club is considering. Now that we are on recesses we may not stop him.
