Anaba Awono has named his 18-man squad for Gor Mahia\u2019s CAF Confederation Cup game against Mozambican side Ferroviario de Maputo, on Saturday 18 February.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Cameroonian born tactician has defended his selection criteria saying that, it\u2019s per individual\u2019s training performance, out-put and experience that granted them a chance.<\/p>\n

-I have 30-players in the team, but we\u2019 only have a chance for 18 players; it\u2019s all about training performance, out-put and continental experience, Awono told futaa.com<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Both Hugo Nzoka and Duncan Makori, who scored in Gor’s\u00a0 0-2 Kenyan Premier League win over Thika United on Sunday (Feb 12), have been given a nod as well as Rama Salim and Baldwin Ngwa.<\/p>\n

Most of the summer signings will be left behind including Donald Mosoti, Ibrahim Kitawi, Peter Juma, Wycliffe Kasaya, George Midenyo and Tony Nyang\u2019or.<\/p>\n
