{"id":4343,"date":"2014-04-09T15:41:59","date_gmt":"2014-04-09T15:41:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gormahia.net\/latest\/?p=4343"},"modified":"2014-04-10T13:01:51","modified_gmt":"2014-04-10T13:01:51","slug":"gor-mahia-3-kcb-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gormahia.net\/latest\/news\/gor-mahia-3-kcb-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Gor Mahia 3 KCB 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nation.co.ke\/image\/view\/-\/2272780\/highRes\/722971\/-\/maxw\/600\/-\/2xx0m7\/-\/KPL_PIXX.jpg\" width=\"483\" height=\"322\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Gor Mahia edged KCB 3-2 in a thrilling Tusker Premier league match.<br \/>\ncourtesy of supersport.com<\/p>\n<p>Gor Mahia held on to beat KCB 3-2 in an entertaining Kenyan Premier League (KPL) match played at the City Stadium on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Gor Mahia\u2019s Innocent Mutiso could have opened the scoring as early as in the fourth minute, Innocent Mutiso placing his shot from outside the box inches wide after an inviting pass from Ugandan Dan Sserenkuma.<\/p>\n<p>Rama Salim too wasted another good chance to open the scoring, shooting wide after Dan Sserenkuma had done the spade work.<\/p>\n<p>He however got the goal in the 22nd minute heading in past KCB custodian Sammy Okinda after the latter had punched Geoffrey Kizito\u2019s hard shot.<\/p>\n<p>Gor Mahia did well to deny Mungai Kiongera in the 43rd minute, with Jerim Onyango diving to parry the striker\u2019s shot.<\/p>\n<p>The visitors won a freekick soon after the restart, Kiongera stepping up to take it but his perfectly weighted shot went just inches wide.<\/p>\n<p>David Owino doubled the lead for Gor Mahia a minute later, heading in Innocent Mutiso.
