Gor Mahia will be hoping to continue their recent form that has seen them climb to the top of the league standings.<\/p>\n<p>The players have done an excellent job of not letting the club&#8217;s financial troubles get in the way of their performance on the field. Gor Mahia fans will be hoping their excellent performance continues and will show up in large numbers to cheer the team.<\/p>\n<p>But Sofapaka have been having troubles of their own and the players recently threatened to boycott the match. Nevertheless Sofapaka are no pushovers. The last time these two teams met, it was in the Charity cup and Sofapaka emerged victorious.<\/p>\n<p>Coach Sam Timbe expressed confidence in his team. &#8220;We are hoping to win. Yes we respect Gor Mahia and what side they are but we have to look forward to the game and hope to win it. That is all that we can do and prepare for, he said.<\/p>\n<p>Striker Enock Agwanda is the top scorer in the league at the moment and is one player Gor Mahia will have to adequately plan for.<\/p>\n<h3>Match Officials<\/h3>\n<p>At the centre in the game will be referee Raphael Nduati who hails from the Aberdares region.
