An inside source has revealed the information to soccerladuma.

“It seems Dan Sserunkuma of Gor Mahia is coming for a trial at Chiefs this weekend. He should come after Uganda play Mauritania in the CAF qualifier this weekend.

“Bobby Williams the Gor Mahia coach is Scottish and a friend of Kaizer Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter. He is the one who has recommended Dan. Dan was supposed to go to Europe but it seems Gor Mahia failed to release him for the trial. The striker scored both Gor Mahia’s goals in the Nairobi derby last weekend,” the source explained.

Before Sserunkuma went to Denmark for trials with HB Koge, he had been linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs who have shown interest in the burly Ugandan of late.

This essentially means that Sserunkuma will not be available for the CECAFA club cup campaign. Gor Mahia will now have to replace him. George Odhiambo “Blackberry” who had earlier been left out of the squad is the likely candidate.

A report posted on soccerladuma.co.za suggests that Dan Sserunkuma is set to attend trials at Kaizer starting as early

[1
71,112,164
post-5037","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-news","tag-dan-sserunkuma","tag-gor-mahia-transfers","tag-kaizer-cheifs
["GET
