They have made arrangement for the player to travel and join them in camp and will cater for the expenses, said Sec Gen Chris Omondi to the club&#8217;s official site.<\/p>\n<p>Calabar had earlier been rumoured to be talking to arch rivals AFC Leopards. Other rumours had him going to El Merreikh of Sudan though he denied ever being approached by the Sudanese. Calabar who is out of contract announcec months ago the he would bee seeking to move overseas to further his career. Should he go to Simba, he will be the third Gor Mahia player to join Simba in the past year following Mosoti and Sserunkuma.<\/p>\n<h3>Oboya in Vietnam for trials<\/h3>\n<p>Forward Patrick Oboya appears headed back to Vietnam. Oboya joined Gor Mahia in 2013 following a short stint in Vietnam. Prior to that he had played in the Slovakian second tier<\/p>\n<p>Oboya&#8217;s agent Robert Muthomi revealed on Monday\u00a0that the former Harambee Stars\u2019 midfielder left country two weeks ago and is currently engaged in trial exercise \u2018with several teams.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOboya\u2019s contract with Gor Mahia run out at the end of last season and he travelled to Vietnam following an invitation by a friend for a number of trials. The trials have gone well so far and the club (where he is undergoing trials) is taking care of him. Since the contract with Gor Mahia ended, the player is now looking elsewhere.\u201d said Muthomi to goal.com<\/p>\n<p>In his prime, Oboya was a permanent feature with Harambee stars for whom he appeared several times.
