{"id":596,"date":"2012-05-14T12:46:45","date_gmt":"2012-05-14T12:46:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gormahia.net\/latest\/?p=596"},"modified":"2012-05-14T12:46:45","modified_gmt":"2012-05-14T12:46:45","slug":"gor-mahia-to-enhance-accountability","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gormahia.net\/latest\/news\/gor-mahia-to-enhance-accountability\/","title":{"rendered":"Gor Mahia to enhance accountability"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/www.futaa.com\/\/images\/350x300\/Gor.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"276\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Courtesy of futaa.com<\/p>\n<p>Kenyan Premier League (KPL) giants Gor Mahia will be the first club in the history of Kenyan football to establish structures for online transactions in a bid to foster transparency as they are set to launch an MPESA payment account.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday launch<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The launch will be held on Tuesday 15 May at the club\u2019s offices at the Nyayo National Stadium and the club\u2019s vice chairman Faiz Ochieng says the club\u2019s supporters are invited to the event.<\/p>\n<p>Faiz observes that the development is a big leap as they look to ensure the club\u2019s affairs are run transparently, since it will even enable fans to get match tickets online.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Transparency and accountability<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>-Gor Mahia will be launching the MPESA account on Tuesday afternoon at the club\u2019s offices in the afternoon at 1400hrs, all the loyal fans are invited to the event.
