Power Dynamos coach Tenant Chilumba has claimed that he side is tactically superior to their Kenyan counterparts.<\/p>\n

“There’s a lot of co-ordination in the team and I am happy with today’s performance. It’s a good win, but we should not be carried away. This was only a friendly match and we are still continuing with our preparations,” said Chilumba according to the Standard.<\/div>\n

Chilumba, who played for the Zambia national team and for Power Dynamos in the late 1990s as a midfielder claims he had studied Gor Mahia and knew their strengths and weaknesses.<\/div>\n

“We knew Gor’s strengths before the match, but from the performance I can say were more technically and tactically superior than them. We capitalized on each and every blunder they made. I was also pleased with our fitness level.”<\/div>\n
Last year during the CECAFA cup, the KCCA coach claimed before the opening match that he knew Gor Mahia’s weaknesses and knew exactly how to beat them. Some of this stems from the fact that KPL matches are televised in several countries courtesy of supersport. This means that Gor Mahia videos are readily available for coaches who wish to study them.<\/div>\n

However assistant coach Frank Ouna has urged fans not to read too much into the results.<\/div>\n

“As much as people are over analyzing the results, there is much more than just the results. I know it hurts, but never bother about the result particularly in the preseason, it’s about preparations.” said Ouna.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Injuries<\/h3>\n
Assistant coach Frank Ouna states that the team is already suffering a mini-injury crisis. Musa Mohamed suffered a serious back injury when Gor Mahia toured the coast. Midfielder Eric Ochieng also picked up an injury.<\/div>\n

Coach Ouna also says that the absence of certain players has hindered the team from settling on a starting line-up.<\/div>\n

“We are yet to settle on the starting lineup because quite a good of the players are still out. Karim, Abouba and Meddie are still in Rwanda, while others are recovering from injuries,” he said\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
