That is what we wanted from them. We have forwarded the same to Caf and the match will now go ahead as planned.\u201d said Nyamweya to goal.com<\/p>\n<p><strong>Goal<\/strong> have exclusively obtained a letter from Gor Mahia to FKF signed by assistant secretary Ronald Ngala. The letter states in part, \u201cWe hereby wish to confirm to Football Kenya Federation that we shall participate in Caf Champions League 2015 edition and arrangements are already in place to host CNaPs of Madagascar on Saturday, February 14, at Nyayo Stadium.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe also wish to confirm that we have received communications from your office regarding itinerary of the opponents and appointments of match officials of which we are already working on sending their travel tickets\u2019 for the said match.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Gor Mahia are also slated to play against Sofapaka in the 2015 DSTV Supercup match. The game is slated for Wednesday February 11, 2015. This happened after Gor Mahia canceled its tour of Kisumu where they were supposed to play SoNy Sugar and Muhoroni Youth on February 7 and 8 respectively.<\/p>\n<p>According to the CAF website, the first leg of the Africa champions league preliminary match is scheduled for the weekend of February 13 or 14. This will give Gor Mahia players only 2 or 3 days to recover. Whereas this is acceptable while playing in a local league, it is not acceptable for a match of such importance. The Madagascans will be well rested and so should Gor Mahia.
