The purpose of the meeting will be to deliberate on how to assist the club to meet its financial requirement in the upcoming continental assignment.<\/p>\n<p>All club\u2019 branches leaders are therefore expected to turn up for the meeting on Sunday at 4:00pm on the said date at the club\u2019s offices situated at Nyayo National Stadium, Nairobi, read a statement on the club site.<\/p>\n<p>With players signed, salaries due and continental bills due and sponsors still hard to come by,\u00a0 Gor Mahia will now need to be creative and competent when it comes to financing the club.<\/p>\n<p>In the 1970s and 1980s, branches played a pivotal role in financing the club. This has fallen by the wayside in recent years especially starting in the Erastus Okul era. Perhaps the club has come to the realization that branches need to be strengthened and incorporated in the day to day running of the club.
