{"id":665,"date":"2012-06-15T02:01:33","date_gmt":"2012-06-15T02:01:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gormahia.net\/latest\/?p=665"},"modified":"2012-06-15T02:09:44","modified_gmt":"2012-06-15T02:09:44","slug":"sserunkuma-deal-completed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gormahia.net\/latest\/news\/sserunkuma-deal-completed\/","title":{"rendered":"Sserunkuma deal completed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/images.supersport.com\/City-Stars-Dan-Serunkuma-1-300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Courtesy of supersport.com<\/p>\n<p>Kenyan Premier League giants Gor Mahia FC have finalised the deal to bring Uganda International Dan Serunkuma to K\u2019Ogalo.<\/p>\n<p>SSerenkuma has signed a two-and-a half deal with the 12-time KPL champions, putting to rest all the transfer speculations regarding to his move from City Stars.<\/p>\n<p>According to coach Zdravko Logarusic, the player who has been training with the team for the past few days, has been impressive at his former club and he expects him to shine at Gor.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s now official Sserenkuma has joined us and I am happy to be with such a player in the team. However, we are still looking for another striker and other players,\u201d said Logarusic.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from the Ugandan import, Gor are also said to be closing in on the signature of Serunkuma\u2019s teammate Oscar Mbugua and Rangers FC midfielder Joseph Njuguna.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMbugua and Njunguna have been training with us for the past few days and we\u2019re hoping to sign them immediately, we are done with the paperwork,\u201d added the Croatian.<\/p>\n<p>However, on the highly rated Eddie Mubiru, Logarusic said that they\u2019ll have to wait a bit longer for the teenager to recuperate before giving the verdict.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s unfortunate Mubiru is injured but will give him time to recover first for us to assess him before making a final decision,\u201d concluded Logarusic.
