Tusker beat Gor Mahia 1-0 in Meru before drawing 1-1\u00a0 in the return leg with Gor Mahia&#8217;s goal coming via Rama Salim.<\/p>\n<p>Tusker will also be buoyed by their 4-2 win over AFC Leopards. But against Gor Mahia they will be facing a team that is vastly different. This Gor Mahia team is much stronger than the edition Tusker faced in 2014. And unlike AFC Leopards, Tusker will find that Gor Mahia are no pushovers as coach Kimanzi of Tusker has admitted<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis will be very tough tie; a final before the actual final and we will be looking to prepare well for it. Gor Mahia have had a great run in the year, winning the league title and doing well at the Cecafa while we have been doing well in the cup competitions so this is a game to look forward to.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a knockout tournament pitting the best eight finishers and you cannot choose which opponent to face so we will be ready for Gor Mahia,\u201d he said to supersport.com<\/p>\n<p>Gor Mahia has shown that despite winning the league with several matches in hand, the players are not resting on their laurels. They want the accomplishment of an unbeaten season and they are each still eager to prove their worth. A classic example of this is Ernest Wendo who has not featured much in the starting line-up. But when he got his chance on Sunday against Muhoroni, he acquited himself well as did George Odhiambo &#8220;Blackberry&#8221; when he came on in the 82nd minute. Both played well against Muhoroni Youth on Sunday and both will be eager to showcase their talents in the semi-finals.<\/p>\n<p>Should Gor Mahia beat Tusker, they will proceed to the final to play the winner of the matchup between Sofapaka and SoNu Sugar.
