This cup usually features the winners of the league and the winners of the GoTV Shield. However the sponsors likely settled on Gor Mahia in order to draw crowds.<\/p>\n<p>The match is scheduled for Sunday, 5-March-2017 at the Afraha Stadium in Nakuru from 3pm. Gate charges for the match are KSh500 and KSh200.<\/p>\n<p>The long awaited Kenya Premier League will start the following weekend. Gor Mahia will start their campaign against newly promoted Kariobangi Sharks that is owned by FKF chair Nick Mwendwa.
