I see that Dolfina has offered an apology
I would like to first of all apologize to the K'Ogalo family and Pamzo publicly (though we already spoke yesterday with him) concerning the Pamzo incident, and would like to state that I gave my opinion as a fan and not as an official. Pamzo is a qualified coach and best suited to steer the ship, if it was my sole decision, I would have hired him permanently as our coach, I have nothing personal against Pamzo infact I consider him a friend because he also happens to be a very close friend to my family. I wish him all the best in this return leg because I know he can deliver. I am working round the clock to ensure that the players and Technical bench salaries are sorted in the shortest time possible as we continue to deliver in the pitch as is expected. I am very happy with how Pamzo trained the players with great zeal and dedication today at Camp Toyoyo, God bless him.

10 Gor Mahia players turn up for training, Nyangi sorts their transport.

Is this the first day of the 2020/21 preseason training camp or preparation of a CAF CL match on Wednesday 6/1/2021?

Remember even,if as expected, Gor Mahia is knocked out of the CAF CL we just drop to the second tier CAF Confederation Cup.
So the club has 2 more continental matches.

Time to get rid of excess baggage e.g
Why do we need 2 goalkeeping coaches?
Why do we need 2 team doctors, as insisted by TM Jolawi?
Why do we need 32 plus players? Cut down the squad to 25 at most.

1) She had a chance to ensure GMFC hired a qualified coach but she failed alongside other officials.

2) Pamzo was just a standing/ dug out coach. Asst. coach and the likes of Dolfina had all the time to strategize on their options and have Pamzo carry out their instructions. Pamzo was just a mouth piece for the Odhiambos, Dolfina and Patrick.

3) Dolfina and co. are the ones who gave Pamzo his terms of reference. On 23/12/20 Pamzo was on the touchline for his team's game, Posta Rangers vs Wazito. Pamzo hasn't trained GMFC players.

4) Gor Mahia players at that time were on strike yet Dolfina now has the audacity to blame Pamzo for her failures. Dolfina was part of the cartel that recruited "average" players who cannot compete in CAF and may even struggle in the local league.

5) Finally let Dolfina put her money where her mouth and coach Gor Mahia for the return leg. It's her golden opportunity to walk her talk. She can even coach the club in the Confederation Cup.

6) Of course all this may be a well calculated distraction to divert attention that Gor Mahia players are on strike due to non payment of their salaries.
Madam Treasurer, where is the Betsafe money advanced to GMFC?
You have only accounted for kes.4m out of the kes.27.5m advanced.

Dolfina now says she would have done better than Pamzo

Honorary Treasurer Dolfina Odhiambo said in a radio interview that Sammy Omollo Pamzo got his tactics wrong against CR Belouizdad and that she would have done better.
"I still maintain, our strategy sold us," Odhiambo told Radio Jambo on Saturday. "I am not saying that the coach [should be held fully responsible for the result] but the problem was that he was too rigid.

"If I was in his shoes, I would have given the boys three options because you can never tell," he added. "Also remember, he has never played with these Arabs.

"You know we were speaking from experience having [faced North African teams] before. He has never faced them as a coach, he has never had the Caf [Champions League] experience with these guys."

The vocal official opined the former Kenya defender should have changed the tactics early to avoid the humiliating loss in Algeria.

"[Omollo] was just being rigid, and that rigidity is what cost us," Odhiambo continued "Not that he is a bad coach; but if I were him, I would have given the players two or three different strategies for example after we conceded two goals in the first 15 minutes, we could have changed our strategy.

"He changed the strategy in the second half when we had already conceded four goals and by the time it was tough already."

Meanwhile, Gor Mahia players have once again threatened to boycott the second leg of their second preliminary round of the Caf Champions League game against CR Belouizdad if their dues are not settled.
