Andreas Spiers contract has ended and Gor Mahia have declined to renew the contract. The statement from the club's social media pages reads:

We can confirm that we have mutually parted ways with head coach Andreas Spiers. His contract ended and we are now in the market for a new coach. We wish him well.
- EXCECUTIVE COMMITTEE

Andreas Spiers joined the club in the middle of the season to replace Mark Harrison who was sent packing after a 3-0 loss to Posta Rangers. Gor Mahia were 5th in the standings when Andreas Spiers took over. Despite a distinct lack of quality players, Andreas Spiers led Gor Mahia to 3rd position before finally settling for 4th position in the final standings.
