3 People who can help Gor Mahia.

Post by T Opiyo »

1) Coach Pinto. Any new coach who can boldly declare after 3 training sessions and his first league match that for him quality takes precedence over age is an asset. Let those officials & TB, cartels, who insist that so and so must play and who sign average players not frustrate him.

2) Tobias "Jua Kali" Ochola. This former legend is visionary and bold. He has what it takes to serve Gor Mahia at many levels from TM to Chairman. Given the current sponsorship Tobias, I believe, can make Gor Mahia become a force in CAF. Under him Gor Mahia will dominate Kenyan football and not only win the league.

3) SG Sam Ochola. He seems ready to call a spade a spade and not a big spoon.

Three people who will not help Gor Mahia.

1) Rachier. With or without sponsorship, gate collections the club has remained riddled with administrative inefficiencies. It does not matter if he has graduates or non graduates as his fellow officials. It does not matter if EC is 100, 11 or 4 officials, the rot continues.

2) TM Jolawi Obondo. The cartel enforcer. He has somehow survived when 8 league winning coaches and even immediate the assistant coach has quit.
He has nothing to show for his long experience in CAF football as each year Gor releases quality players and massively recruits below par players most who never play a single match for the club.
Every year there is no improvement in player welfare or in the preparations for CAF only a steady decline which culminated in recent embarrassing 8-1 defeat.

3) Treasurer Dolfina, This is a loose canon who heads Gor Mahia finance docket she is ill equipped to handle. She gives financial income & expense reports for events, only CAF matches and not the league, instead of a period, e.g monthly or from Aug-Dec2020. She has the audacity to claim she can coach. It appears she's is a believer in the slogan "anything a man can do, she can do better."

4) Gor Mahia fraternity for allowing the club to regress into mediocrity.

INGO is the fourth person who will not help Gor.

On the quest for new players, the coach has fired warning shot to all and sundry. No player or club official protegees is guaranteed a psotion. Good Start with Slum boys 3:1 was a decent scoreline

Don't be too sure.
Either coach Pinto has fired a warning shot or most likely he has started drafting his sacking letter.

Pollack run afoul when he identified only 4 local players to beef up his squad and insisted that officials try to retain other key players. We should only have lost Joash because Simba FC have surpassed us financially and administratively.
Losing Lawrence Juma and Boniface was preventable.

The transfer cartels are still very much intact and occupy controlling and strategic positions in the club's hierarchy.
They will deal/ handle coach Pinto accordingly when the time is right.
