Which set of Fans will celebrate ?

According to Supersport, Gor Mahia chairman Ambrose Rachier is supremely confident that his side will repeat their performance from 2 months ago and beat arch rivals AFC leopards.

 Said Rachier

“Some people might want to write off K’Ogalo following a few isolated episodes but I can confirm to you that Gor Mahia is still the team to beat and its will not be easy for our arch rivals AFC Leopards,” Rachier told SuperSport.com.

“You can only write us off at your own peril since I am confident we will beat them agin just like it happened in the first leg. The game will be a battle of the titans where the toughest shall emerge victorious.”

“I appeal to our fans to turn out in large numbers, give undivided support to our team and remember that they have always made us proud despite a few hiccups. The players and technical bench are well motivated and I believe come Sunday everybody will be laughing after victory.”

Meanwhile AFC Leopards tactician Jan Koops has also expressed confidence that his team will avenge the loss they suffered during his debut.

“The team is now in high spirits and everybody is geared towards winning the match. All along, finishing has been our major problem but since Mike Barasa and Charles Okwemba joined the team in the second leg, we are now scoring goals.”

“I’m happy with the way my strikers are responding in training sessions and I’m sure if they perfect this during our match against Gor Mahia, we shall definitely come out winners,” said the Dutchman. “The approach will be very simple, force them to make mistakes and capitalize on them. Since we are at home, I know our fans will be expecting a lot from us and the tie will determine our destiny in the league.”

REMEMBER OUR THREE COVENANTS AS AGREED BY BLOGGERS.

    1. You shall accept any kind of result without turning
    into violence.

    2. Do not throw stones or any kind of object despite
    our current frustrations.

    3. You will sing , shout out yourself and dance to the
TUNE OF K’OGALO without provoking “Mashemeji”.

WHAT AN UNPATRIOTIC LOT YOU FANS WHO PAY ZD HIS SALARY HAVE TURNED INTO.WHY ARE YOU IGNORING HIS PLEAS AND POSTPONE THIS MATCH SO AS TO SATISFY HIS EGO AND GREED.THE SAGE HAS SPOKEN,HE WILL BLAME YOU FOR THE RESULTS IN KAMPALA THOUGH I DOUBT HE CAN CALL FOR THE POSTPONEMENT OF THE FOREIGN LEAGUES WHERE THE BULK OF HIS TEAM COMES FROM.THE MAN IS A GENIUS,WE ARE SUPPOSED TO POSTPONE THIS LEAGUE AS HE TRIES LOCAL PLAYERS WHO HE WILL DROP BY TUESDAY NEXT WEEK IN FAVOUR OF KINA JAMAL WHOSE FORM HE READS IN THE MEDIA LIKE THE REST OF US.NO WONDER OUR CHAIRMAN CALLS HIM COACHES.

  • Jackowili says:

So our chairman Rachier has finally woken up from his slumber! My worry is how long can he be trusted to stay awake?

Wuon Pap you are a great mind. Just don’t waste anymore of your energy flogging the dead horse ZD. He is not worth it.

Mwakio, Pareyio and Salapata where are you?

  • THE NAIROBI DERBY IS BACK

I am happy to be back.

The sunday clash between the perenial rivals, AFC Leopards and Gor Mahia as usual promises to be a battle royale. On the form book, k’Ogalo has an upperhand but such a derby is unpredictable .

Be warned chingwe leopards. This is not a wedding ceremony. we not only promise you a good run for your money, but also show football made in Kenya .

Finally I wish to salute our team officials for calling for calm before, during and after the match. The acts of hooliganism should be strongly condemned. Infact this time round, those who are hell bend to cause chaos must be apprehended and face the full force of the law. For how long shall we tolerate such goons who have no respect to their officials, coach let alone their players?

When the Rt. Hon PM, RAO – an ardent football is in the stadium, such goons have no respect for him. The club have been penalized heavenly several times in the past because of their fans. I do hope the October 8 meeting btween the branches and officials will find a lasting solution.

Let the Magician wave his magic wand and pull another trick from his bag of tricks so as to secure us a win!!! Counting on lady luck, prayers, players’ determination, in fact anything but most of all the drive of player no.12 for a win kesho.

  • Jasawagongo says:

These ingweee are making noise everywhere and they forget so fast about the hungry leopard which ended up being choked by milk in july and am sure tomorrow whether they want to call it luck or otherwise we will dissapoint them again

  • Jackowili says:

In the late eighties Kogalo was in an almost similar situation when we had to meet Ingwe at Kasarani with our playing unit in shambles.

Gor fielded a makeshift and relatively unknown side with Jared Achieng Achieng making his debut in Kogalo colours. What Jared Achieng Achieng and the boys did still remains documented as one of the many “mahias” (miracles) of Kogalo.

    I smell another miracle!!
