Coach Frank Nuttall is now back at helm

Gor Mahia have re-instated coach Frank Nuttall as head coach, thus ending two days of sheer insanity. Chairman Ambrose Rachier made the announcement at the Tamarind in Mombasa where Gor Mahia were being hosted by Mombasa mayor Hassan OMar and MP Eliud Owalo.

This has also been confirmed that there will be no more negotiation regarding Nuttall’s contract. Both parties will fulfill the remainder of the contract as it was originally written.

According to a source speaking to goal.com, the significant pressure from fans caused the EC to reconsider the decision regarding Nuttall’s salary.

“Nuttall is ready to sit and discuss the issue and Gor Mahia officials have also accepted because the pressure from fans is too much to handle. By the look of things the sack will be overturned and don’t be surprised to see him taking charge against Bandari on Saturday.” said the source.

Earlier the EC had voted unanimously to cut the coach’s salary in half and if he was not willing, he would be free to seek employement elsewhere.

Effectively this has saved gor mahia about sh. 5m that would have been slapped on gor mahia due to mass vandalism that was eminent in Msa. But I still find it difficult to forgive this man Rachier and his so called EC. Common sense is not common to all even to the learned friends.

Amina Ferrari Min Bentley,Ronald Ngala,Rachier Ambrose and etc who sit as members of the Executive Committee,Gor Mahia FC not just any other football club.It is a lifestyle for millions of Kenyans,it is a symbol of the Luo Nation.Infact it is what makes us as a people very unique in Africa in terms of passion for the game. When you play with the running of the club, you play with the heartbeat of a nation,a people & a comunity.Kindly be reminded & it is in good faith that almost all the commandments God gave out to his people began with either the words “You shall not…” or “You must not…”.The fans response to your act of sacking Coach Nuttal was meant to remind you of the words ‘You shall not & You must not’ at any point of time in your lives try to touch the apple of the Luo Nation’s eye without their approval.Human skin is not meant for Hides & Skins Store but some of you I fear their skins would have found their way into that store just because Gor Mahia Fc.

#DanOriginal, read my post again & broadly understand the context in which the word ‘community’ has been used.Depending on the spectrum of your vocabulary it may also mean what you understood it to mean when I used it in my post.

Did the EC think Gor can take any krap. Next time try it in AFC.

Do you remember nuttal holding the team together and encouraging players when EC could not pay them after eating gate collections. Now you saw free money imagining whenever coach is gone you can share among yourselves the sportpesa money.
