Gor Mahia to play Uganda Revenue Authority

Plans are complete to have Gor Mahia play Uganda’s league Champions Revenue Authority at City stadium this Saturday 23rd as from 4pm. URA FC contingent of 23 will arrive in Nairobi on Thursday and have chosen Gor Mahia to gauge their charges before taking on Zanaco FC of Zambia in Orange CAF champions league in Kampala Uganda three weeks later. Gor Mahia will be at full strength after the arrival of their six players who were in Yemen over the weekend doing National duty. Coach Gideon Ochieng is elated with this kind of opposition citing opportunity of building his squad mentality before playing El-Meriekh FC next weekend. El-Meriekh arrived yesterday and are camping at Kasarani.

  • Mr. Ngala please update the website. It is outdated with old pictures and information. Can you borrow a leaf from City Stars, Thika United, Sofapaka, Mathare, AFC Lepords websites? Please get a volunteer to help in updating the site.

Meanwhile I read in Nation that there is one person interested in being the Chairman. Who is this Ogutu? Has been Gor Mahia fan? I thinks Kogalo fans should re-elect Mr. Ambrose Rachier. He has done great work for the club and the entire Gor Mahia fraternity should re-elect him.

I also appeal to all Kogalo fans to observe calmness and peace during the AGM scheduled for 24 January 2010 in order to portray the good image of the club. Gor is a big household name in Kenya, East Africa and Africa due to the past records and accolades the club won during the yester years.

The year 2010 will be the year for Gor to win all major trophies.

    HOYEEEEE KOGALO…HOYEE AMBROSE RACHIER

Am definitely coming for the game. African cup of Nations has been boring no fireworks for me. I need the adrenaline that Gor Mahia games give. Hey I think the website needs improvement. Ask volunteers with expertise in web design to help it will not cost you much, but anyway it is better than nothing. Gor needs funds and the club should look for innovative ways of fundraising using such methods as MPESA (with security in mind) so that i dont need to be there physically to contribute. Sell mechardise via the website e.t.c just a thought guys.
