Kogalo held at Naivasha

Gor Mahia tied 1-1 with Karuturi sports club. The match was evenly balanced, which is surprising considering the difference in quality between the two sides. Whereas the hosts consist of a number of Nondescript players, Kogalo has a number of national team players, past, present and future.

Kogalo fans showed up in droves and went into a near delirium when Eric Masika scored after only 3 minutes from a Makori corner.  The equalizer for the hosts also came from a corner kick on 61 minutes. Despite a series of raids at the Karuturi goal, Gor Mahia could not break through.

Gor Mahia now have a 1-1-1 record, at par with their sub-optimal start to the 2010 league.

  • It was unlucky match. The fielding was spot on. We should have won this game but ladyluck was not on our side. I was impressed with the performance of Lavasta and this young lad will go very far. In our future match, I think the coach Zico should consider starting the line-up with Duncan Owiti and Lavasta of twin strikers and bring in Odera and Kiplangat at the later stage.

To me the draws are just like losses taking into account that we had to travel such a distance. Sorry, I am not impressed…

At this rate we might just miss the bus and rue these lost points in the later stages. Other contenders (and even ingwe) have started well, rangers who caused us much heartache is looking very ordinary even against newly promoted teams. I won’t say much this week other than urge our beloved K’ogallo not to leave themselves with too much to do too late

  • I must say that this guy lavatsa gonna go places and we believe he gonna take koggallo far. What zico have to do is to train the lads to shoot when outside the box.

  • Dear All,

I have just read at http://www.gormahia.co.ke that Tuzo/Spin Knit Dairy Ltd will be sponsoring Gor Mahia FC. This is the greatest news that has made my day today.

Well, this is an edict that let all our families, friends, supporters, fans, officials, lovers, sympathisers of Gor Mahia throughout the country and the entire East Africa region with effect from today 16 March 2011, buy and consume all products related to Tuzo and Spin Knit Dairy Ltd. As we do our shopping for breakfast, afternoon tea, lunch etc, let us jam all shopping centres or supermarkers to buy Tuzo products. This will increase Spin Knit Dairy Ltd sales and more money will be channelled to Kogalo. Congrats to TUZO, Spin Knit Dairy Ltd and all stakeholders involved that made sure that sponsorship was a success. In our next and future matches against Western Stima and other teams, let us all “the Green Movement” jam City Stadium or any other venues with three, four, five, six or ten packets of Tuzo. I will buy 15 packets to share with others Kogalo followers. This will show 210% of TOTAL COMMITMENT to TUZO and SPIN KNIT DAIRY LTD. I Love Tuzo. Let us all think, dream, sleep, wake up of Tuzo and Spin Knit Dairy in the morning, afternoon, evening and night.
