Gor Mahia Coach Zdravko Logarusic took his players through the last bits of training on Friday morning as the team finalized on its last tactical plans for their match against arch rivals AFC Leopards on Saturday.
Gor Mahia are looking at the possibility of getting to the summit of the league with a win against AFC Leopards who have camped at the top slop for most parts of the season, pending Tusker’s match against Karuturi Sports on Sunday.
Under Coach Zdravko Logarusic, K’Ogalo have found their rhythm and have gone for a total of 28 unbeaten matches in all competitions. In mid season, no one would have thought that the 1995 league champions could be classified as title contenders but as per now the dream is a reality.
AFC Leopards on their hand are under pressure to win the match after stuttering in the last few matches with the latest being a 2-1 loss to Western Stima in Nakuru.
Coach Logarusic had given the players a one week rest after their 1-0 win against Sony Sugar and the Croat returned to his native home for a deserved rest. He is now back with a bagt of tricks to sharpen his boys for the Saturday derby
