Be careful about listing Moses Odhiambo “Dube” you could be banned by CAF for listing a player who is signed by another team

  • You can only be fined for playing him and not listing him in the squad

But why do they submit his name if he has already signed for another club? Can’t they give this slot to another deserving player?

OBVIOUSLY THE TEAM IS SHORT IN MIDFIELD……..AND OFFCOURSE, THE STRIKERFORCE LOOKS WEAK SHOULD DAN SERENKUMA BE INJURED. WE NEED TO BEEF UP THE TWO DEPARTMENTS.

Where is Logarusic? Time is running out as CAF Cup day and KPL is fast drawing near but the coach is AWOL.

Something must be terribly wrong with our Executive Office and if team will not be properly prepared for this cup and league, the blame would stop with the Chairman and his executive committee.

I have never seen and heard where a contracted coach just goes for holiday for two months. This is the time for any contracted coach to recommend and consider recruiting of only required players in specific departments or positions.

With all due respect to Bobby Ogolla, I do not think he is up to the task of executing such mandate in identifying and recruiting good players.

I’m very disappointed that Bobby Ogola is not having CAF qualifications. What has Bobby been waiting for and having coached Sofapaka and other football teams?

Something is terribly wrong with our Executive Office in offering leadership and guidance regarding the role of the coach and hiring of players. I think we have many brokers in this Gor Mahia executive office.

  • Mapema mapema na tusilie eti we don’t have enough bodies and qualities in the midfield and in attack. Sign up Mutiso and Olando to add bodies in the middle of the pack. Kenya lacks Quality strikers and as such we can take Bob Mugalia to add numbers in attack. We need a minimum of 7 seven strikers and so far we only have five. What happened to the young Eddy Mubiru? Tusker seems to have signed more than five foreign players. Harry Gentle would have been an option in the middle but Tusker has snapped him up. We need to look around for two more midfielders.

On the list issue, let us not get worried as that is just provisional squad that will be over-writing when we present the final list; final list will be submitted on 15-Jan-2013.

@4 Jakoyo – I echo your sentiments about the concern on striking and midfield. We need George Black Berry signed and added to bolster either mid of striking force.

@5 Mwakio you are right. Lugarusic should now join with the team; time is running.

@ 6 Le Pastre – we don’t need Mutiso & Mugalia at all; these are not the quality we are looking for. We need Obadia Ndege instead of Mugalia or Mutiso

  • We have started our ‘bad’ habits of saying who should be signed and who should not. Looks like we don’t even need Loga going by the number of ‘coaches’ commenting on this blog. We have started sounding like what one of the leaders calls Ngwiri (somebody help there). We forget so fast. As fans we ‘signed’ Felixhino, Odera, Ballotieno, Hugo etc but have forgotten. It’s Loga who set up his requirements and these players were offloaded. So the issue of who we need or don’t need is for the coach. As far as I know Mutiso terrorised us quite alot during the Mathare-Gor matches and so was Mugalia. And that’s what teams base on their recruitment world over. So let the coach select his players from as many players as he can have available for the trials/selection.

@ onyango and @9 Dan we can’t keep quiet. In fact if you are not aware, most of our views in this blog and in the facebook are normally taken seriously and we keep on providing checks and balances to EC, technical bench, team and that is why GM is what it is today. We can’t just be saying good things everyday. I have seen even the admin of this blog has matured and up and it’s long since he deleted people’s comments. Furthermore these are just views so one should choose to take or ignore…

@9 Dan, stop being sycophant. With all due respect, fans allover the world have right to comment both positively and negatively. Their comments do not mean that they are coaches.

Check your comments please before we can declare them as gigo.

If that is the mentality of ‘dont touch the coach, player, office, etc’ then no one will ever comment because after all none of us is the chairman of the club or the overall in charge so let us all pour out our views on any subject without fear or favour…In other word all your ideas are needed for the growth of the club (both good and bad) to help in decision making

  • @Mwakio, is having a different opinion sychophancy? I beg to differ. As fans we are usually the first to cast the first stone when things go wrong. I remember us praising Awono when we won the FKF Cup but later on in the following year baying for his blood. I remember @Kosero being called the same names (even worse) when he told us to be patient with the way we make changes. Unless things have changed at Gor even Loga will one day encounter the wrath of ‘us’ as fans when his ‘magic’ wanes. We are at liberty to criticise but looks like just as in Serikali there are things we will never know since we are not in EC. E.g. There are several reasons why a player might not be interested in Gor, but prefere AFC, Tusker or Ulinzi. Can somebody deny that we ‘pushed’ the EC to sign Ballotieno and Felixhino?
