2023-2024: Gor Mahia banned from CAF but wins the League
CAF Ban
Gor Mahia’s 2023-2024 season started on a sour note when they were barred from participating in the 2023-2024 CAF Champions League. Gor Mahia were thus forced to select an alternate venue. They chose to play in Dar es Salaam. A week or so later, CAF announced that because Gor Mahia had not settled moneys owed to former players and coaches, they would not be included in the draw for the 2023-2024 CAF Champions League.
