Gor Mahia focused on better performance in Champions League
Gor Mahia are still training hard and focused on ending the league on a good note and also with a focus towards preparing for next season’s champions league.

On The Champions League
Kagere: We hope to make sure we begin new season in good form. We will be playing champions league so we must make sure we are in good form.
Musa: Our main objective is to get good results from the start to the end.
Kerr: Its up to me and my staff to make sure that are prepared for whomever we get in the qualifier and we do our best. At the end of the day, thats all I ask from our players.
Go pitch camp in Zambia in december/january and play the likes of zesco, zanaco and nkana…..they will help gauge your readiness for the preliminary stages of CAF where am sure you will be pitted against either a south african club (specifically bidvest ) or Northern African clubs ( libya, tunisia or Morroco )

What is required at this moment is a statement not by anyone else but the chairman detailing our level of preparedness for the African competition facing as .
Do we have the resources to compete and not just to participate , are we even resourced enough to participate , has the coachmade his recommendations and identified players to reinforce the team .

Great idea @Jakoyo and cost effective too. If we can’t afford Zambia, then let’s opt for UG. EC start booking the friendlies now. I fail to understand how finances is an issue when AR is starting to “build his stadium” in 2018. AR seems to be the only person who seems to be prioritizing “building his stadium” over proper preparation and participation in CAF. So far for 10 years he has been “unable to manage the gates” resulting in “dwindling gate collections” despite the contradicting high physical turnouts. The last game against “maiti thicker” in 2012 netted kes4.5. What do we collect currently? How will “his stadium” pay for itself. Lastly if I were you, I wouldn’t hold my breath expecting Mugabe to be accountable for/explain anything apart from the usual +10 year old story the “club has huge debts”. My prayer is that he personally shamed to try and improve GMFC’s most pathetic decade in CAF, 4 league title notwithstanding, which coincides with his 10 year reign as the longest chairman.
Correction “netted kes.4.5M.” In addition gate collections ,in 2013,were routinely per game kes.2M per game, reduced to kes1.5M per game, then to kes.900k per game, then kes.600k per game and lately below kes.300k per game only made public whenever an agitated Nyangi goes against the conspiracy of silence and spills the beans. The physical attendance aka “turnout” at the matches has strangely been inversely proportional to the gate collections. I appeal to the “kingdom guards” to persuade AR to convert “his build a stadium” agenda to serious attempt in winning continental trophies.
@ Oduor 12, the issue of own stadium is still relevant only if we use that platfom to sell stadia naming rights to the highest bidder. just coming from Uganda and Star times for example has taken the naming rights of the stadium in Lugogo from Phillip Omondi stadium to Star times stadium at a cost of kshs 20 million per year.
