Treasurer Dolfina posts financial report for APR match

After earlier posting the financial summary for the trip to Rwanda, Treasurer Dolfina Odhiambo has now posted a summary of the expenses for the APR match and once again appealed to fans to help the club financially as they plan for the trip to Algeria.

Dolfina’s message:

Report: Francis Kahata Leaving Simba

Various reports suggest that Francis Kahata is leaving Simba with one report suggesting that he is being sent to Gor Mahia on loan.

It will be remembered that when Kahata left Gor Mahia, coach Hassan Oktay said it was a grave mistake to let him leave as he was a class above all other players in the KPL. But chairman Rachier was very unhappy with Kahata following the episode where Kahata, Philemon and other players were photographed while sleeping at the airport during the travel fiasco in Gor Mahia’s trip to play RS Berkane. Therefore whether Rachier would be open to such an idea is unknown. Oktay was right. Kahata is one of the best playmakers ever to play in the Kenyan League.

    1) As institutions, Police and GSU are not a business and as such, do not have a KRA number. Additionally, they are funded directly from treasury. So, where is this “police money” that was paid to them frombtis match banked? Did this money attract tax? Police and GSU are paid a Salary that is budgeted for in the annual budget. So what is this money being paid to them for? I mean, aren’t we already paying taxes? Why pay them again? They are not a private security company.

We need the vision you have for the club short term and long term remember your chairman pledged to build a stadium before he leaves what you are posting is a shrewd way of deceiving people that you are transparent. How was the 20.5m the former organizing secretary withdrew was used? How was the 3m given to you by FKFwas used?. Every time you beg when we have big continental assignment that is how the office is design to get revenues which come and can not be accounted for.STYLE UP GUYS BEFORE CHANGES CHANGE YOU.THINK HOW YOU CAN CHANGE GOR NOT HOW YOU CAN MAINTAIN THE STATUS QUO. You mentioned that now days there is no gate collection when there was that office was saying they only manage to get a paltry of 0.5m or majority of fans were not paying .Now that fans are not allowed you recognise it .You were elected to bring new ideas of revenue collection not to beg and perpetuate excuse style of management and crisis management.

      True Peter.
Surprising how is it that some quarters are asking for evidence to be tabled as regards cooking of books by the treasurer?

Neither of the two reports reflect the kes.3 million from FKF and half the 2020/21 sponsorship Rachier confirmed Betsafe has paid.

Good corporate governance requires that financial reports are for a period and as at certain date.

Reports for events are for weddings, funerals, birthday/ xmass parties by informal / ad-hoc fundraising committees.

The income omitted from the two reports is kes.30.5 million and evidence of it is in the media.
The players have not been paid October & November salaries as the report indicates September arrears are being cleared.

Errors of omission are obvious and repeated.

As the late Speaker Jean Marie Seroney once posed,
      1) Why substaniate the obvious?
      2) Why close your mind to evidence your eyes can clearly see?

The 2 reports are COOKED big time.
Income is grossly understated and consequently so is the balance.

Someone seems to be keeping the Betsafe money kes.27.5 million & FKF kes.3 million and are releasing it kes.2 million per report.
If my guess is right why not clear the salary arrears for players and TB.

Be as it may the desperate situation being portrayed is misleading and the balance the treasurer is reporting is false.
