Gor Mahia gearing up for GoTV shield semis

With the CECAFA senior challenge cup having come to an end for most teams, Gor Mahia are set to resume local duty. It was a disappointing outing for all the Gor Mahia players. But with that behind them, Gor Mahia will take on Zoo Kericho in a friendly match that will be used to gauge the team’s strength ahead of the semi-final match against Nakumatt.

“The friendly match is an opportunity for us to re-group and re-focus after winning Top 8 and with national team players being away for some time in Ethiopia,”said Nuttall to the club site

Gor Mahia have won three trophies so far this year and will be gunning for a fourth title.

In the meantime, Gor Mahia are said to be interested in signing fast rising mathare United ace Eric Johanna

“We have been watching him for a long time and are convinced that he can be a great addition to our squad ahead of next season,” a source in Gor Mahia,¬†who did not want to be named, told goal.com

With the number of allowable foreigners in the KPL reduced, Gor Mahia will need to focus on recruiting local talent.

      1. No big deal @Dan original. Players come go and new talents are revealed. After all Olunga was a nobody before donning Gor jersey. It’s Gor as a club which makes players to flourish and not vice versa.
We had the likes of Ssere, Rama, Calabar, Kizito in 2014 and that is history. So for Olunga all the best as we await the unveiling of fresh talent in k’Ogalo.

  3. I highly doubt if Calvince Omanga can make it in Gor. What the office should do is to renew contracts of players whose contracts have run out and tie players with long term contracts. Amos Nondi ought to be brought back for he is a gem. Also some players should be promoted from the junior team.

  4. I like this showcases here hahahahahahahahah. Hihihihihihihihihihihihi
They want to recruit players yet they cannot pay salaries outstanding yet there was windfalls in finances in November such as trophies reciepts 6.2m. And that huge gate collection on sportspesa trophy presentation. Wise men says small minds is always dangerous.

This is why have come to get reality that sponsors will never be accepted in gormahia. The Ec belief.wine.dine in poverty kweli ng’ombe wa maskini hazai. Alijo nacho huongezewa.
ooh God where will we ever get a person like president Magafuli to run gormahia.
I have now concur red with those bloggers who say here that gormahia is a big club and running it is not easy but I understands why it is so difficult because there is no transparency.accountability.respect towards gormahia brand by gor office
After they ve stolen from gormahia u will see them in dark places like using the money to visit brothels.marrying under age girls. Driving Suv cars.

If these is the attitude of gor office me I don’t see them going anyway as far making impact in Africa. You can win all matches in Kenya tournaments but fail to win outside Kenya.

Once again I wish you all the best as you go ahead to kill gormahia.

Hats mafi ya kuku. this will happen immediately use chase away the current for squad. bure kabisa mafi ya kuku. Idiots
