Gor Mahia have signed Jules Ulimwengu
Gor Mahia have completed the signing of Burundian marksman Jules Ulimwengu. This according to a announcement in the club’s social media pages.
In 2018, Ulimwengu was the top scorer in the Rwandese League while playing for Rayon Sport. In 2019, he joined Chinese second tier side Shaanxi Chang’an. Gor Mahia had tried to sign Ulimwengu in 2019 but Rayon Sport demanded a transfer fee of US$ 150,000. This after Ulimwengu played a starring role in the 2019 CECAFA club cup. He scored the lone goal when Rayon Sport upset giants TP Mazembe of DR Congo. He then scored both goals in a 2-0 win over Atlabara of South Sudan to propel Rayon into the quarter-finals.
He was born on 21 April 1999 which makes his listed age as 21. He started his career with Vital O of Burundi in 2016. He then joined LLB Academic, also of Burundi in 2018 before joining Rayon Sport in 2019. He becomes the second Burundian to sign for Kogallo in recent history following in the steps of Karim Nizigiyimana who was KPL defender of the year in 2015.
Last season, Gor Mahia lacked a consistent scorer. Kenneth Muguna was the teams leading scorer in the league with 6 goals. Still the club was able to score 47 goals in 23 matches. With the arrival of Ulimwengu, Kipkirui and Tito Okello, Gor Mahia potentially have a dynamite attack.
Welcome to the team Jatugo. Now time to get ready for Africa Champions League. This time group stage
Now, this is the kind of international player we want at Gor. Not a 17 year old. Why sign a 17 year old international player?
There is nobody who is 17 in real years. Real age is 20-21
Can someone kindly assist me?
Which is the best way to effectively support K’galo e.g to pay and retain quality players?
1) Are GMAF and Gor Mahia branch members officially recognised by the club?
Specifically, can GMAF and Gor Mahia branch members attend club AGMs/ SGMs and vote on club resolutions / elections?
2) What is the annual registration fee for the:
a) club membership direct;
b) for GMAF;
c) for a Gor Mahia branch;
Thank you in advance
We recently voted with an intention that management will improve their game. All these questions you are questions that have been asked before, and unfortunately, have not helped the club.
The solution to Gor problems will always be these two things;
1. Attend club matches
2. Transparency in the management of club finances
On assumption that issue No.2 is now solved, No1 is our duty.
The Gor Mpesa, Gor Water, Gor Bread, Gor Sacco, GMAF, gmap unfortunately are hallucinations to say the least(i’m supprised bado hakuna Gor Movies). They are projects created out of selfishness or ignorance.
Selfish cause someone sees it as an opportunity to shine and Ignorance cause one does not understand the kind of financial organization required to run a club.
If you are interested in these projects then do so simply as a supplement but not as a major solvent to the financial problems facing the club… but while at it ask yourself first, why create another ‘project’ while the others are either dead or lying in limbo.
Gor Mahia is broke cause of these major reasons;
1. “Fans” who do not believe on the club. People who would rather jump in for free than pay to watch a match.
2. people who would rather exploit the club by donning Man United t-shirt or fake Gor attire rather than buy the official club attire. You recently saw fans making and selling Gor Mahia FC face masks ‘Out Of Their LOVE For The Club’.
3. Club Officials who would rather import fake club attire rather than encourage fans to buy the official club attire.
4. Club officials who would rather swindle club finances and not answer to any query about club finances.
5. Fans who would rather sit in bars and make premier league clubs rich by watching Arsenal rather than go to the stadium to watch Gor.
7. Fans who steal, break into cars and mug their fellow fans at the stadium.
8. Fans who have turned Gor matches to bhang smoking sessions.
9. Club Officials with zero business acumen, who’s major achievement is to visit Ramogi fm and other Luo language stations for interviews but cannot tell you how many club T-shirts he/she has ordered for or sold.
Solve these problems and watch Gor turn around.

nani, nini, what tena mnataka?
GMAF is extremely good but their lack of independence and power E.C has left me disappointed..
