Gor Mahia officially sign Jacque Tuyisenge

Jacque Tuyisenge, the Rwandese striker whose signature Gor Mahia have been chasing for the past month or so and who expressed an interest in joining Gor Mahia back in November has been signed by the club.

Ronald Ngala confirmed to goal.com that the deal has been finalized.

“Yes, we have acquired Tuyisenge, who has signed a two years contract with us. He is a great player and we are glad he has accepted to play for us. His experience will be vital for the team as we prepare for the continental assignment as well as the league. However, he will join us after Chan since he has to lead his national team.”

Tuyisenge was the second leading scorer at the 2015 CECAFA senior challenge cup with 3 goals. It was then  that he expressed an interest in joining Kogalo.

Gone is Meddie Kagere and Michael Olunga. In comes Keli and Tuyisenge. This means that coach Frank Nuttall has his work cut out to try and create a measure of cohesion between strikers   who have never played with each other. Last year Gor Mahia played numerous friendlies at the coast in preparation for the league and the CAF assignments. Something similar is needed this year.

Meanwhile the status and availability of David Ochieng “Cheche’ is still not clear though he had been training with the team.

“We were interested in signing Ochieng (David) but he kept us waiting for long,” Ngala said to Capital FM

O my!, I see Gor doing just equally good in 2016 season. With Tuyisenge,Keli,Kahata plus all the remaining squad of 2015,who is gonna beat Gor to the trophy again?.Im optimistic Coach Nuttal will quickly come up with a new lethal attacking combination probably lethal than the Olunga-Kagere one.WELCOME TUYISENGE.

Nobody knows what Oliech’s condition is. Nobody even knows if he is serious about football anymore. If he wanted to continue playing then he should be training with one of the local teams.

  • Terrible move.So as it stands we will depend on Agwanda,Berry and Keli to breach Wydad Casablanca and TP Mazembe defence as Ja Usenge warms the bench.I hope we rope in Johanna Erick and Cheche who it seams prefers training than actual football. On local league that is a done deal but continental kuna kazi

  • Our attack is very blunt for CAF competition. We are not ready. Maybe if Agwanda steps up his game tenfold then we may be ready for CAF.

We are actually ready for CAF. The issue is can we go beyond RAC? From what I have observed that will be a tall order

As it were the signings are good. Though new to each other but I think they will click. As to the games ahead of course no team is a push over or a walk in the pack, but so are we. Let us have faith in our team.

Bloggers in this site are demanding a lot. Why are some bloggers complaining of the team? Why can’t you contribute handsome amount so that we can keep all our good players?

      Where are our faiths?

We have to support our team if we want positive results from the boys.

Can somebody bring me upto speed on this one:What does Caf require? Is just the name of player plus acquisition documents or just the name.If the name is all that matters then Tuyisange’s may just be submitted.I think the full list should be out on 16th.I believe EC knows the goals it has set for this year vis-a-vis the available arsenal.Has Wafula’s case been sorted out?

@Kennedy, the ITC must be submitted for the deal to be done. The other financial/contractual issues are for the clubs and/or federations. If we sign Tuyisenge before the CHAN starts then e will not be legible to participate. Moreover they are the home team and need to do better.

If Cheche is proving hard to get why don’t we go for Saleh of Ingwe. Am sure in Gor under Nutal he can end up being one of the best defenders. No need to look at the box handballs but also how many crucial goals did he score for ingwe

I agree the team is okay though we’ll rue missed opportunity to keep the entire 2015 squad.
I don’t believe Cheche is the only good defender GM can acquire, remember Flava did a similar thing the other year and it did not stop GM from moving forward, as much as he’s (Cheche) good, GM is equally a hot cake for so many players, someone tell him.

EC should look for another defender, i would recommend two central defenders coz we are really wanting in this department.

Sometimes I don’t trust Futaa. The outcome of tomorrows replayed friendly will be a wake up call to those players who never travelled with the team to Ethiopia. As for ‘Cheche’ he better makes up his mind coz Saleh is available. How I would that the EC goes for ‘Pinchez’.

@Kosindo, do you sometimes take weed. Such kind of posting belongs to those people that are known with weed business. This is just a friendly match whose results do not matter at all. Last season do you remember that we lost all our friendly matches before the league started and yet we won three trophies and finalized in CECAFA tournament?
