Gor Mahia seek second trophy of 2015 : KPL Top 8

Gor Mahia have all but sewn up the 2015 Kenya Premier League. What is now left is whether this will be considered a season to remember in the long history and annals of this great club. One way to make this a season to remember is to win multiple trophies.

With that in mind, Gor Mahia will be looking for their second trophy of the 2015 season when they kick off their 2015 KPL top 8 campaign against Muhoroni Youth on September 26 at Moi stadium Kisumu.

Gor Mahia have already won one trophy this season: The Supercup, which they won in January after beating Sofapaka 2-1. They narrowly lost the Charity cup to Sofapaka on penalties.

Gor Mahia will also be looking to improve on their performance from last season when they lost in the semi-finals to Tusker. The KPL Top 8 is also an opportunity to try players who have not seen much action this season including Jerim Onyango, Bernard Odhiambo, Timothy Otieno and George Odhiambo, while resting key players who will keep the unbeaten run intact.

Full Fixtures

Now that many players are leaving, Kogalo should give opportunities to players like Blackberry et al to prepare them for next season
