Gor Mahia willing to sell Kahata and Mbish says official

Gor Mahia official Ronald Ngala has told goal.com, that the club is willing to sell Francis Kahata and Philemon Otieno to Black Leopards of South Africa.
In addition, reports suggest that Karim Nizigiyimana is looking for greener pastures after expressing dissatisfaction with the deal the club offered him. With Karim and Mbish leaving, there would be a gaping hole at right back.

Gor Mahia players Philemon Otieno and Francis Kahata have been subject of transfer speculation of late.

Goal exclusively reported on Monday that the players are in the shopping list of former coach Dylan Kerr, who joined South African Premier League side the Black Leopards.

When reached for comment about the possibility of Gor Mahia selling the two, Deputy Secretary General Ronald Ngala said the club will not stand on the way of any player, who wants to leave, if the right channel is followed.

“We are in business and if we get a good offer, we’ll definitely consider it. Our policy is known; we cannot stop any player from leaving if the right procedures are followed, refusing to give a release letter will not benefit the involved parties, everything should be discussed and in the end, an amicable solution reached.

“Kahata is contracted to us until June next year while Otieno is contracted to us up to 2020. So if Black Leopards are interested to sign the two players, they should follow the due process in regards to transfers,” Ngala told Goal.com.

Gor Mahia will face Malawi giants Nyasa Big Bullets in the first leg of the Caf Champions League on November 28 before the return leg on December 5.

So what was that story about Nakuru, who cooked it up

‘We are in business’ secret business indeed where the loss is shared to Gor fans while the profit is shared by the corrupt officials(refer to walusimbi sale) As earlier stated by the immediate former coach, kahata is worth more than 100m and mbish 20m.

@oswozo, is it financial issues again hence their stay in Nairobi?

Hehehe…and who cooked this story that Kerr was due for a medical leave , doctors advice ? Nonsense, Kerr is as fit as a fiddle in south africa. If anyone wants to leave the club let the leave at the right price… everything has a price tag.

The timing of selling players should be right, it should be done during the official transfer period when they can easily be replaced. Selling players at a time when we have crucial matches and may be past CAF deadline for amending the list of players participating in CAF confederation or club championship is wrong.

The team trained at parklands sports club on Monday and again today, through on Monday there were.very few players.

I spotted a new face,a light tall player who looks affiliated to tuyisenge from the way they were relating closely.

Perhaps he is a new signing but not from kpl.unless someone here knows who he is.

@Oswozo, we signed a Ugandan Erisa Ssekisambu but i heard that there is the small matter of sign on fees that is yet to be settled so I expect he has not linked up. That should be him but with our dramas I cant say for sure

With Guikan staying, can Erisa be signed or has the team met the foreign quota?

@musymo, Ugandan Erisa Ssekisambu is dark average height and bulky/muscular ……surely that description from oswozo must be a new face perhaps Nicholas kipkirui or someone training with the club hoping to be signed.

Why are bloggers suffering to find out who new player are when you can ask Jasego? The lanky light skinned fellow referred to herein above is Togolese Folly Klan Christophe a striker per excellence with admirable conversion rates. Not to panick though i know money issues is sensitive in Gor Mahia here so if hatufiki bei he will be signed elsewhere probably down south where i already have offers for his services. Erissa Ssekisambu sign on fees is bringing problems plus the indian club he had a dalliance with briefly is claiming he had a contract and delaying his release letter. On Ngala’s sentiments on selling players what i can say is the only player we can consider selling Kerr is Kevin “Ade” Omondi the only player Kerr ever scouted and signed while in GM. We can sell him for a modest fee plus he can add Alkan Wanga whom he had reckmmended we sign this season but we didn’t bite. I beliege Kakamega Homeboys would be glad to do business but on Kahata and Mbish respectfully akae mbali tafadhali. @Oswozo the team was meant for residential training in Nakuru but money as always is a headache in our team thereby it was decided players be paid their October salaries which was done but to the expense of the Nakuru trip. Finally Karim is demanding money that i don’t believe we should be giving him based on last year’s output and No surety that he will be better this year judging from his display against Everton FC so since foreigners are in excess and their fates unknown let us be ready to lose some…sign some…retain some depending on prevailing circumstances

Alternatively as @Odhis Muga correctly stated Kerr himself valued Kahata for 100 Million when Simba came calling and Mbish 20 Million so give us those amounts and you can have them even tomorrow our former good Sir…

Yeah bro i brought him for trials coz of the Erissa Ssekisambu uncertainty so we can have a back up plan. Btw Erisa Ssekisambu was also in training today maybe justbthat you don’t know him physically yet. I would have liked you to tell me between him and Christophe who looked sharper and possesses more striking instincts…

Blogger i pose this Question. Would it be prudent if i recommended release of Karim and Mustafa Francis and in their stead we have Ssekisambu and the Togolese Christophe? There is the flipside of having 4 foreign strikers but you must remember not even Tuyisenge has lived up to the ruthless attacking prowess we have wished for since Olunga left. We can have twin partnerships of different formations all foreigners at our call of duty in the hunt for goals. Please share your views including Jakoyo since we must reason together for the benefit of GM continentally…

I think Karim should be retained, he is coming from long term injury and shouldn’t be expected to jump right back into form, it is in the striking department where we have a glut so we should assess Tuyisenge, Erisa, Mustapha, and the Togolese and choose the best three. We need not have too many strikers as we can only field a max of two at a time. My opinion is Guikan and Mustapha will struggle for playtime once Erisa gains form so they are good candidates for loan out

I hate the way we release players too easily. Whenever possible we should try and sell players to recoup the sign on fee

That is ok, Ja’Asego. If it is within your means to do it, please go ahead and release Karim and Mustapha. We have more than enough personnel in the defence even in the absence of Karim.

Ok Bro…Mustapha being on a long term contract we can loan him out instead to avoid contractual breach repercussions…Karim on the other hand is EC”s blue-eyed boy but let’s see how things will pen out

JTGJ…Brother i have recently been referred to as “Senior Gor Cartel Member” working under the Head of the Snake but i assure you am not. I just happen to have been involved with serious soccer agencies across the globe and having consulted with most African Football Federations in how to improve various leagues across the continent. In doing so i meet and brush shoulders with the continent’s best whom my first instinct is always to wish they could don the Mayienga Jersey though i often than not Never land them here for they don’t come cheaply. It is under such background that the Togolese is here trying out….That Nigeria’s NPFL 2017-2018 Top Scorer Junior Lokosa of Kano Pillars called me incessantly wanting to come…Ghanaian Solomon Mensah wanted to come…Guineans Saidouba Bissirri Camara and Jose Kante passed through here before ending up in France etc…I bring them and weigh options then link them with contacts abroad or elsewhere since most times we can’t afford them…N/B i only bring or aspire to bring good players to Mayienga to shine and go further in their careers and not selling them out like Walusimbi departure which i resisted tooth and nail…
