On Saturday, Gor Mahia played two friendlies in Naivasha. New coach Oliveira Goncalves started his career at Gor Mahia on a high note.

The second match against Naivasha combined ended in the 75th minute due to darkness. Gor Mahia were leading 3-1. It was Naivasha who scored first. Ulimwengi scored Gor Mahia’s equalizer and Tito Okello and Konfor added goals.

The line-up for the second game was:

Bonface Oluoch, Philemon Otieno, Michael Apudo, Andrew Juma, Charles Momanyi, Bertrand Konfor, Jules Ulimwengu, Bernard Ondiek, Tito Okello, Kenneth Muguna, Cliffton Miheso

Both matches were played at Marula Estate stadium. Omalla’s sharpness in front of goal shows that he is not likely to dissapoint fans who are hoping he is the next great striker.

Great start and hopefully we can graduate to higher test friendlies before season starts. What was the line up in the first match? Anyone with information?

How I wish K’galo was there!
Yes, Rome was not built in a day but surely it didn’t take 12 years to finish even the foundation!

I think Omalla is on the path to being the real deal. But lets wait for league to start. he will surprise people. If he can score 9 goals for western stima then for Kogalo he can score 20

Omalla is a star waiting to happen. However let’s give him time to showcase his promising talent.

My only concern is that we have so many strikers. Some will end up being wasted others will get demoralized.

But hopefully the coach will find a way of keeping all of them busy and happy..
