What do we get out of it now that he was not our player but Fisa. What is out longterm strategy with players. Kenga was on loan, he is gone.

This Gor mahia, needs one to have Blood Pressure medicine which can be taken anytime gor news is about to come through.

    All the best Ade. Tutajupanga

My big question is who pockets the transfer fee. Fisa Academy, GM or both and in what ratio?
Surely all these exits from GM and so far no word on replacements or any benefit from the transfers worth talking about.

Football is business and those running it must have business brains. Sports brains are not enough. Even us as fans need to know that football has changed. Who doesn’t know that FISA owns Were, Musa and Kevo and that their contracts allow them to go for trials anytime. When Tevez and Mascherano were owned by a sports company you diddn’t need to negotiate with West Ham where they played but that company.
So let’s have our players and give them 5 year contracts, something that doesn’t happen in this part of the world. Otherwise this is the chance for Obwoge, Onyango and the rest to come out and shine.
Even abroad some players refuse to extend their contracts if they think it will complicate their transfers.
Let’s pick our loses and move forward as these players better their lives. Now Oboya is Allowed to play so he should cover up for Kevo’s loss.

  • There is nothing wrong with our office they have no control on Kevo ‘s deal all along kevo and Musa have been on loan and they have been serving has very well now is time for ade to move on lets appreciate the effort he put while playing for kogalo and we have player who have not been playing these is there chance we need to know you can force someone to play for Gor they have contractual agreement with time frame so they decide there destiny not the club we just have to feel the gap with new talent wish you the best Dadi

  • Why is GM lately always getting the short end of the stick in ALL DEALS.
Why on earth does the EC sign players like Rama on 6 month contracts at the begining of the season?
Oboya came 2 GM only 2 recuperate.
How long had Ade been on the so called “loan”.
How long will Musa stay on this loan agreement while its GM giving his career mileage.
Has this Moroka nef nef team ever won any continental title?
Like O.T stated AMKENI ADMIN STRUCTURES @ THE CLUB R TOTALLY USELESS & EC LIKE IT SO.

Deal has hit a snag, kogallo demands compensation ! …………………………..K’Ogalo confirm to Goal they have received request to release ‘Ade’ Omondi to join South African top outfit but insist they must be involved in the deal

Gor Mahia midfielder Kevin ‘Ade’ Omondi is expected to leave the club next week to begin his career in South Africa but the move is already stalking controversy.

Fisa Academy, who owns the player have written to Gor Mahia asking them to release him so that he can join Moroka Swallows of South Africa, who have reportedly offered him a two year contract.

Swallows’ Chief Executive Officer, Leon Prins, confirmed to Soccer Laduma that the player has signed on dotted line for the maroon and white-clad outfit. The move comes after Goal exclusively revealed that Gor Mahia will lose influential midfielder Omondi and Rama Salim to South African league.

“He is on his way. He is an exciting attacking player who can play as a winger and as a midfielder. We are looking forward to seeing him in pre-season.”

But Gor Mahia Secretary General Chris Omondi has questioned the move to Moroka Swallows even as he insisted that they must be involved in any negotiations before the player moves.

Speaking to Goal Omondi revealed, “When he went to South Africa, we were told that he was attending trials at Ajax Cape Town. Now we are told he is to sign a contract with Moroka Swallows. It does not add up at all.

“Moreover, if he is to move, we want to be involved in any negotiations because he has been at Gor Mahia since he was a minor and we are therefore, entitled to any development fee that may accrue.”

The Dube Birds are looking to massively bolster their squad, after a poor season in which they avoided relegation/promotion Play-offs on the last day of the 2013/14 Absa Premiership season.

The club has been operating on a shoestring budget after they lost their sponsorship with Volkswagen and have now added the Kenyan international to their squad as they target an improved showing next season.

@Paw Akuche, now that you are cleverer than the whole EC combined I wonder why you didn’t present yourself for election. We all acknowledge that things are not going pn well but there are things we cannot force e.g. forcing a player to sign a three year and not six month contract. It depends on the negotiation of both parties and the prevailing circumstances. Similarly we cannot force a firm to sponsor us but we can always put our case forward for consideration. Let the Obwoges et al now prove their worth

Bloggers never cease to amaze me. When EC go to the media to inform them of players they are targeting, some of us complain that EC is exposing our plans to competitors. When EC keep the negotiations secret, they complain that they are not being informed. Sasa munataka nini? I am not worried about nothing. All I know is that the transfer window is closing on 30th June at mid night. I do not want to think that the EC is that naive to the point of not replacing the player who are leaving. Let us hold on our horses. In 6 days time we shall know who has come in to replace the outgoing players.

  • @Alberto never cease to amaze, nothing worries you? Are you normal? How old are you not to see things hanging on a cliff? must someone push his finger through your nose for you to blink?

things are bad. Non of the remaining players can take the pressure and deliver a top 10 position this season.

EVEN in January they were restless like this, but eventually it was gor mahia who did the best signings.you want the officials to disclose the players then our competitors will go for them.in December we said we wanted to buy musa mude and afc rushed there and bought him,let us give our officials time and you should also know that right know we are in financial crisis, let us not just buy then by the end of it we are defeated on how to pay them.

  • I like the way somebody said, average club = average results.

Bloggers am amazed you are discussing about buying players…….where is the money? This players are leaving for free, yes , absolutely free! And more players will leave just watch this space by 30th June .

If you did watch gor Mahia senior playing the youngesters over the weekend you will notice there were some 3 or 4 new faces and those are the new recruits, they just wait to be confirmed. We are not Efusi, we are not sofapaka, and we are not tusker, we are a budget club, So what is the fuss!

@Omondi, when the season started I remember there was a lot of noise coming from this blog. Some even predicted that Gor would lose so many matches and the 5th one would see BW fired. That never happened. Gor is at the summit after leg one of TPL. Now the same group is still waiting and are hoping that their prediction would come to fruition during the 2nd leg. I say, I am not worried for nothing. There is lack of money yes, but not lack of talent and drive to win TPL 2014. There is so much happening behind the scene at Gor that we cannot claim to know everything. Gor has been, is and ever shall be. No need to worry.

  • Football is big business. Already whats happening is an indication that we are on the radar of bigger n more financially stable teams for our players. The gift horse is staring us in the face. Develop talent, sign long term contracts with them once talent n commitment is ascertained. Market these talent and reap ur due rewards. By the way, this should duly start in earnest with our youth team.
