Gor Mahia coach Zdravko Logarusic is set to become the highest paid coach in the history of Kenyan club football.

Gor will be paying a hefty Sh500,000 per month for the services of the Croatian this season.

This will be an 80 percent increase in his monthly pay from Sh300,000 making him the best paid coach in Kenya today after the exit of Frenchman Henri Michel who was hired for Sh4 million a month as coach of the national team in a short-lived stint.

Gor Mahia secretary general George Bwana had earlier revealed the club was considering improving the pay package of the coach as appreciation of his contribution to the club’s success last season and the club has settled on Sh0.5 million.

Logarusic has been on the warpath with the club over his pay demanding an increase. He left the country last November at the end of the season threatening not to come back unless his salary demands were met.

He was demanding Sh4 million signing on fee and Sh500,000 salary.

    He is worth.

However, EC should always give players & Technical bench bonuses whenever we get a good catch in gate collections. This could have been possible even without waiting for get collections since we’ve eliminated residential trainings that used to be costly. On the same note, I presume the budget we normally have for Dec tours is still intact since we did not camp anywhere as a team…
