Numero, Wesonga, Kennedy Owino, John Ochieng join Gor Mahia

Andrew Numero

Andrew Malisero Numero becomes the first Malawian to sign for Gor Mahia.
“Andrew can play both as an attacking midfielder and striker and will provide much needed attacking options to the team.

His age is being listed as 17. But given that he was called up the Malawi Under 20 team in 2018, this is unlikely. He has signed a 3 year contract

Numero attended Braeburn school in Nairobi. He has been training alongside other Gor Mahia players so he is a known quantity.

Kisumu Trio

Gor Mahia have also added two more players from Western Stima: Defender Kelvin Wesonga, who signed a four year contract, and attacker Kennedy Owino. In addition, John Ochieng has joined from Chemelil Sugar.

Jules Ulimwengu

The club is stll pursuing Jules Ulimwengi who was earlier reported to be leaning towards AFC Leopards“We are not done yet and the player you are alluding to [Ulimwengu] could be on his way and will be signed because I believe Gor Mahia and him have agreed on most details of the contract.
“He could be unveiled tomorrow or just the days after and it should be the end of our transfer business.” said an official to goal.com

Three years contract …or above is acceptable. To both parties at least. Avoid the mbili mbili Kama kawaida cartels like plague. Now the team is ripening.

International player slots should be reserved for experienced talent like Kagere and not 17 year old Juveniles ! We can develop our own.

@Jamig, while I dont disagree that Numero is an exciting talent and am not oppose to his signing per se, @Gor Player may have a point. Up to around 2017 our policy on foreign players was to get only very exceptional proven talents and mostly those who played for their national teams with very good results. That changed from 2018 and you have seen us sign very mediocre players like Mustafa, Ssekisambu, Yikpe and Afyirie. Overall, am pleased with our transfer business this window. My only wish was for us to get Austin Odhiambo but it seems we are not going to. And finally some one inform the author of this article that Kennedy Owino is a defender not an attacker

Tuyisenge, 28, is in the country since last week after parting company with Angolan side Petro Atletico while Kagere reportedly flew in on Wednesday to finish the talks with the army side.

While head coach Adil Erradi is said to be an admirer for both marksmen, all the attention is on whether APR will be able to afford the two transfers – each at a reported USD50,000 sign-on fee.

However, in an interview with Times Sport on Thursday, APR spokesperson Clever Kazungu said that “I am not aware of any talks between APR and the two players.”

I will ask, inquire again . Please get a Nairobi school for Omalla. The syllabus is the same. For his soccer/club stability and fluidity of the game he should be attending training with his peers in Nairobi. Tafakari.

I think it’s best to loan omalla for this coming season. He is in form 4.Changing schools during your final year is not advisable

Jakom exam en achiel ma itimo e Republic of Kenya and what matters if you understand the content kendo ngat mofuwo kata som in one school for their five lifetimes will still harvest Es. A bright chap will pass hata akibadilisha shule mara thao. I know of guys who while growing up due to poverty, switched schools almost every term right to the third term of Form Four and only went back to sit for the final exam in their registered schools and one of them my neighbour scored straight As and became one of the most accomplished lawyers in Kenya today. But maybe you have reasons why you THINK makes switching schools unadvisable in F4. It would be interesting to hear them another time in another forum by someone with similar unproven assumptions. Still, no opinion is superior and I will respect yours and the right to say it….

It’s quite obvious why it’s not advisable. It needs no further explanation. And for the records not everyone is the same and comparisons are neither here nor there. Regardless of what is said, I will still maintain my stance… Let him finish his forth 4 without undue movement!!
